“Oh, shit,” Mark fumbles, scratching the back of his neck. His shirt rides up with the motion to reveal a fresh, reddening mark bruising the pale skin just above the sharp cut of his hipbone. Jaemin clenches his fist so hard that his knuckles crack. “Sorry, man. We didn’t realize.” He laughs quietly. “Donghyuck’s, uh… loud. You know how it is. Haha.”
I do not know how it is, Jaemin thinks, half-delirious. “Ha,” he echoes dryly.

Peter Parker has been the Amazing, Spectacular, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man for about six months now and has been able too keep his secret identity pretty close to the vest with neither other heroes or villains super or otherwise the wiser. All that changed when he offers a cornered Laura Kinney a safe place to lay low as he tries to help her on her way to her bloodline. She's the girl whose the best there at what she does but up till now what she does best isn't very nice can Peter in the short amount of time use his positive influence to change that or is Laura destined to remain as X-23 a weapon devoid of emotion, wants, or desires of her own. (Story takes place in an alternate universe infused by the original Ultimate Marvel run, The Spectacular Spider-Man, and some elements from the main 616 Universe)
