    “I mean, this shit won’t work on me ‘cause of my healing factor," Wade continues. "And everybody knows that Spidey’s a beta!”

    The criminal glowers, hunched desperately over his gas canister on the other side of the room. Wade’s right that the dude is out of options, but he’s wrong about Peter being a beta. It’s not his fault — that’s exactly what Peter led everyone to believe.

    Or: Wade discovers that Spidey is an omega.

    Wade's laughing at something a pretty girl with long black hair and a tight dress is saying. His hand is curved around her hip, and her face is tucked against his ear. She’s whispering something that’s probably clever, funny, and sexy and is going to literally charm those tight pants right off him. Peter takes another burning sip of his drink, something strong that Wade had gotten him, and it’s gross, but it also burns in a way he needs because it dulls the twist in his stomach when he sees Wade with people who are actually capable of making a move on him.

    The girl is pressing a kiss against Wade’s cheek now, and he’s saying something that’s making her laugh. Peter takes another long drink. Of course, she’s laughing. Wade is immensely funny, not that Peter would ever tell him that. He’s also immensely arrogant and thinks he’s hot shit because he is and Peter wants him so, so bad. Too bad he’s not a hot girl, or a hot guy, just Wade’s weird nerdy college roommate whose been crushing on him for three years.

    Peter Parker isn’t Spider-Man anymore. No, he left his suit and that life behind after Gwen, Harry and everything else went wrong. He packed his bag and took off, looking for someplace where he won’t see Gwen’s ghost on every corner, someplace where he won’t have nightmares every night.
    Wade Wilson isn’t Deadpool anymore. No, he told a client to fuck off when he’d been sent to end someone who… didn’t deserve it So he left, packed his bag and headed for a place where the voices in his head don’t scream at him, where he can find some peace.
    When Omega Peter ends up in Alpha Wade’s life, Wade tells him to keep his distance, not to ask about his scars, and to not bother him with his heat. Their arrangement works, each of them living with their own secrets, orbiting around each other but not to each other, until the Alpha starts staring a little too much, and the Omega starts needing some company.
    Wade’s past catches up with him unexpectedly and Peter has to come to terms with the Deadpool side of his Alpha and it nearly tears them apart. But Peter still has a secret of his own. And he isn’t sure how Wade will react to that at all.

    Deadpool travels to the D.C universe, meeting a miss Harley Quinn who has recently only barely survived a brush-in with the Joker. Wounded and in need of a friend, Harley accepts Deadpool's offer to come visit his universe. They quickly declare each other siblings, trying to figure out how to move on with their lives now that the title of "Villain" doesn't quite fit them any more.

    The Joker however isn't going to let something that's "His" go so easily. He is determined to get Harley Quinn back if only to kill her for good this time. Poison Ivy recruits Catwoman, Killer Croc and the Mad hatter to help her go after Harley. Batman and Batgirl follow to try and do damage control.

    Director Nick Fury is fucking sick and tired of random costumed weirdos popping out of portals and causing trouble. He would almost prefer Loki at this point. At least Loki never dressed as a bat. Who even are these assholes?

    Can Harley and Deadpool's new friendship survive? Or will they be torn apart in the clash between dimensions?

    (btw I'm including this as a part of the Take Your Daughter to work day series as how Spiderman and Deadpool got together and how Deadpool became involved in Ellie's life again)
