They’ve been at it for hours-- some malicious gift of a program, burrowing into Hank’s code, as he’d jerked back from an interface at their last crime scene, and running him hot, searing, as they’d driven back home. Until steam had started to puff with each breath the HK800 took, and the simulated flush of his skin had burned, red, up his neck. LED blaring in similar fashion.

Summary
Hank hurried off towards the evidence room, trusting Connor to distract his brother long enough for him to extract the information he needed. This was his last chance to find Jericho’s location, and the price for failure was his deactivation. Hank was determined to not let that happen.
Too bad someone was just as determined to stop him.

I rewrote the whole game as a reverse AU. A lot of it doesn't diverge too far from canon, all things considered, but some things are very different and you get a good look at the emotions and thoughts of the main characters.

Both customer and stored androids are being destroyed and drained of thirium, and gallons of blue blood have been going missing from CyberLife, putting the company in a tough spot when trying to pay for both the missing technology and the hush money for customers and employees who won't keep their mouths shut.What's worse?
Androids have started to go rogue. Deviating from their code, running away, and having violent outbursts that make it difficult to crack down on the errors and keep their customers' trust.They leave these problems to a specialized prototype android who's been in development since the new drug was known, and an R&D director who also works for Central Detroit Police Department.
…They really shouldn't have.
