“You hear me, plastic asshole?” Hank asked. Connor tilted his head at the approaching lieutenant. He didn't look the least bit intimidated.
“Hank…” Fowler warned. He was on his feet now, trying to decide whether he should step in or not.
“I don’t like you," Hank continued, ignoring his boss and getting in the android's face. "Any of you. If it were up to me, I would round all you plastics up, throw you in a dumpster, and light the match!”
The grin on Connor's face widened. His eyes searched Hank with a morbid fascination.
“Well, what do you know, Lieutenant,” the Deviant Hunter said. “We have something in common after all…”
After the Android Revolution in 2036, Jericho became its own, separate city that floats in the river and borders Detroit. Reintegration with humans is slow but both sides are optimistic in its success.
Especially Markus, who can just send out his loyal and legendary Deviant Hunter to take care of any androids that aren't compliant with his peaceful ways.
...Or use him to team up with a washed-up Lieutenant Anderson to investigate android disappearances in Detroit when the FBI seemingly 'forgot' to inform Jericho of the problem.

Summary
The world changed. The android revolution failed and with it androids vanished, being recalled by Cyberlife or deactivated and demolished. It is rare to see an android on the streets nowadays.
Gavin Reed couldn't care less. He's got his hands full with maybe the most difficult case he ever had: Unveiling and destroying a Red Ice mafia that had built up in the city while the police was too busy with deviancy related crimes. If anything he is happy to finally have Hank and Connor out of his precinct and not having to see the tin-cans everywhere mocking him.
Until his case leads him towards a lost, traumatised android who is the key to putting an end to the Red Ice trade.
Unfortunately he gets a little more than he bargained for, when the android not only helps him with his case but also makes him question everything he believed to be true.-

It's been two weeks since Markus was victorious in his fight to free his people from the recall centers. Detroit belongs to Jericho now, but the war is far from over. It doesn't surprise him when another RK800 appears before him with a mission to end his life. What does surprise him is how quickly things unravel when Markus' proposed "solution" entwines himself with the deviant hunter and blurs the line between enemies and lovers.
