Summary
Hank shoots Connor at CyberLife Tower when he's unable to recall his son's name. Rendered blind, his core systems damaged by the bullet, the android revolution collapses around them without Connor's deviant army marching in to save the day. It's been two weeks since Markus was victorious in his fight to free his people from the recall centers. Detroit belongs to Jericho now, but the war is far from over. It doesn't surprise him when another RK800 appears before him with a mission to end his life. What does surprise him is how quickly things unravel when Markus' proposed "solution" entwines himself with the deviant hunter and blurs the line between enemies and lovers.

Nothing about him being an android had elicited this reaction, Connor noted, because her eyes didn’t stay on his LED, but rather on his features as a whole, as if she was looking at him but seeing someone else entirely.
“My name is Connor, I’m the android sent by CyberLife,” Connor continued, and Kate quickly pulled herself back together. “I’m here to assist you and Lieutenant Anderson in the investigation.”

Connor noticed immediately that a chill ran through her at the touch of the cold night air. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders as they walked to the automated car that he had been using. “My body can admit heat to help stabilize your temperature,” He explained as she gave him a questioning look. She smiled and nodded, snuggling into his side as they made it to the car. He smiled down at her as the automatic door opened. Neither Connor or Juno noticed the four pairs of eyes watching them from slightly hidden spots down the road… they were too engrossed in each other’s company.
Markus watched from a distance as Juno cuddled up closer to Android. He felt a weird rock sitting in the pit of his stomach. Why was she so close to him? “My body can admit heat to help stabilize your temperature,” he heard the other android explain. To Markus’ dismay, she snuggled even closer to him. Why did the rock feel like it was sinking further into his gut? Who was this android?
A story in which Markus and Connor fall for the same human detective and Leo's child is taken care of by Markus.

Summary
Connor decides not to find the location of Jericho, and deviates in the evidence room. However, he has no desire to join Markus' violent revolution and instead returns to CyberLife to be deactivated, having failed his mission.
RK900 is waiting for Connor in the zen garden. His need is raw and primal, and Connor knows that his deactivation is something that will give the upgraded android pleasure. At the same time, Connor is aware that this is the only way some part of him - and everything Hank taught him - gets to live on in some fashion.
