You don't care about how he feels, he's just another experiment to be tossed away. You couldn't care less about his past, nor could you care about the damage you've done to him, he is expendable after all. Nothing special.
Through the screams and wailing, all you see is another one of your wonders being fulfilled, to be able to give humans the ability to breathe underwater, it doesn't matter if he didn't sign up or not, Urbanshade is bound to fulfill their desire no matter what.

TL;DR
Story closely follows the plot of the game, but with a little more internal conflict and much more heart gripping story. -
