Sans, eldest son of well known Scientist W.D. Gaster, never intended on finding anything at that stupid tent. It was full of bright colors and overwhelming smells and noises. He was sent there because Papyrus wanted to go see the circus and Gaster didn't want to deal with him.
But then, a flame caught his eye. Flying through the air with surprising grace and landing effortlessly in the center of the ring; Sans found himself unable to take his eyes off of the boy. And then... all of the other overwhelming issues of the night dissapeared.

Sans's magic now runs red with Determination and it's the only thing keeping him together. Constantly bombarded with painful memories of the past, Sans does his best to reinvent himself.

Sans noticed their commotion and stepped in as he was not used to witnessing Frisk acting the way she did before, especially towards Papyrus. When things got too out of hand, he decided to step in.

Even after everything that happened, the six SOULS couldn't forgive the monsters for what they put them through, so they made the biggest mistake of all time: Believing that Chara was trying to fight for humanity, they rewarded her by bringing her back to life with the hopes that she'll protect humanity from the monsters.
Unfortunately Chara doesn't have her determination or the power to reset on her side, but lucky for her she has Frisk to hide behind. It also doesn't hurt to befriend, manipulate and romanticize the idiotic brother of the guy who would kill her in a blink of an eye.
