The first problem was that he'd even fallen asleep to begin with, the second was that the rest of the futon was empty and Casey Jr was nowhere to be seen. He fought to convince himself it was just paranoia up until netherite boots peaked around the corner, followed a second later by lime green beneath a chestplate and the sickening porcelain smile that stalked his nightmares.

The ground was the same shade of green, but the sky’s color had changed. The sky recalled scars like a scorched mirror with outlines of what it has seen.
A teen awoke in the Shrine of Resurrection, in a kingdom called Hyrule. His name was Tommy, but he didn't know that at the start.

Dream had to die.
That realization surprisingly brought Tommy no joy. After experiencing it he knew with absolute certainty that he wouldn’t wish death even on his worst enemy. Nobody deserved that eternal damnation, no matter how severe their crimes were. Let alone that even before Tommy had always been a relative pacifist. He fought for the causes he believed in, but his intent was never to kill. Violence brought him no joy despite what the general public seemed to think.
So it went without saying that he didn’t want Dream dead for revenge or justice. He would feel no satisfaction from his actions, and there was no justice to be found down the path he’d chosen.
But he couldn’t let Dream live.
