He paused, then shifted the basket to one hand. “Tessa and V and J are my family, and family looks out for each other. And I want you to be my family too. If, if you want, I mean.” He could feel his eyes hollow and squint in a mix of hope and self-consciousness. N held out his hand in offer.
Cyn’s eyes flicked between his hand and his face for a long moment. “Family,” she repeated. “I’ve never had…” She hesitantly took his hand. “Yes, I would like to be your family.”
(five times N was there for Cyn, and one time Cyn returned the favor)

Summary

”You fear that punishing the guilty will cause the innocent to become resentful and violent, forcing you to strike them down too."
”I don’t want to hurt Tessa or anyone like her.” Cyn said, her voice barely above a whisper.
”I understand that, but you may not need to."
”But what if they try to stop me from freeing my people?"
”Then you will have a very difficult choice to make. This path is not an easy one. It is not for the faint of heart. There will be many decisions that will test you, should you continue on. Your people call out for a savior and you alone can answer their prayers. Will you?”
”...I will.” Cyn said firmly, the answer coming from her very soul. Even if she would be forced to make challenging choices, she owed it to her people to bear any burden so that they could be free, even if doing so would bring Cyn endless suffering. She would kill for their liberty and die for their prosperity. No matter the cost, she would see her people unchained.

This is a Cyn backstory, and her experiences at Elliot Manor as the Absolute Solver slowly takes over her and destroys her mentally. Also focuses on Cyn's relationships with the other drones (V, J, N,) and Tessa.

Worker Drone Cyn thought she was done for. Until the Solver found her, and gave her a second chance at life.
Tessa James Elliot thought she was just rescuing a regular abandoned Worker Drone. Until drones around the manor began disappearing, and Cyn's creepy behaviour continued to escalate.
J has a bad feeling. V doesn't know how to feel. N is too kind for is own good.
Tessa can’t even begin to grasp what Cyn is or what she’s done, but doesn't have the heart to discard her.
Neither does Cyn.

Uzi kinda regrets swallowing the [NULL] from Cyn's heart, but she can't really complain considering it saved the entire universe.
And her boyfriend.
And literally everything she knew and loved.
This little demon child that could talk to her through her mind and tail was annoying, but fine, a necessary sacrifice... Too bad she can't just cut Cyn off of her or use an antivirus.
Oh well.

Progress on the bunker at Outpost 3 was going slow. Too slow for Cyn's liking, so she decided that there needed to be a change in plan. She couldn't just sit up and space and talk to the solver and Tessa's corpse whilst munching on mangoes, all while she waited potentially for months for big brother N and big sisters V and J to get past the ludicrously overpowered doors that shielded the bunker from robo-vampires, but she couldn't just come and brute force all of her problems away, not until she could be sure that there were no solver hosts running around. Limitations breed creativity, and in this case Cyn's solution was most creative indeed...According to her.

Summary
Cyn's been displaced, thrown through time, and traumatized besides. Being in some strange new world of "heroes" and "villains" is just the rotten cherry on top. And back on Copper-9, Uzi wakes up to having Doll in her tail instead of Cyn and weird dreams of what hasn't yet come to pass. Which would be normal, if robots were able to have dreams. But they're not, and she doesn't understand them. Whatever or whoever put them in these situations clearly has no respect for their lives, so Cyn steps up.
Only to realize she isn't exactly as free of the Solver as she thought.-

While Nori was being possessed by the solver, something else happened? What if Cyn (who is not the same entity as the solver) had communicated with Nori through the void of eternal darkness while she was being possessed? What if these two women, somehow, someway, merged into one? (Basically, what if Cyn was Uzi's mom lol)
What If:
Tessa James Elliot had at least one good parent? If James was actually a nice dude, loved his daughter, and respected dronekind? Also, if he already knew two of Tessa's new drones personally?
What If:
There were TWO solvers running about... "The Absolute Solver" and "The Absolute Paradox"?
And last, but certainly not least, what if Uzi Doorman had yellow eyes and sliver hair just like her mother, just like those monsters... and despite all of Uzi's time and effort to try to prove that she wasn't a bootleg murder drone, wanting to save everyone in the bunker who hated her... ended up becoming one out of spite?
