The blinds in their apartment were always shut.
The only light illuminating the room was the yellow ceiling light and the lamp by the sofa if it was on at that. It was suffocating.
It drove Ranboo crazy at times. Whenever he’d open the blinds, they'd be closed in the next 30 minutes. They’ve been meaning to ask Charlie what his deal was, but they assumed it was some leftover trauma and didn't want to make a big deal out of it.

No more shows,” they shook their head, not breaking eye contact with Charlie. “Please, I’m so tired.” Tears formed in Ranboo’s eyes, flowing into his mask. “No more shows, please, no more shows. No more shows,” Ranboo’s voice broke, and so did Charlie’s heart.

Live or Die, no matter which option any one audience member chose there was still a resounding feeling of wanting what was best for Ranboo, just the ‘best’ couldn’t be agreed upon it seemed. But Die began to slowly, yet all too quickly, was beginning to lose votes. Pushing Live to win at the last seconds.

He didn’t remember much; he didn’t remember anything really. He recalls the memories flooding in at the sight of the stage he performed at, was that even him? He recalled being a demon, but he wasn’t- he was just some normal human. He remembered staring at it, the moment was quickly ruined as a monster, the security, came out from behind the set. He remembered backing up, a bad choice of running backward as he tripped- a thump onto the ground, and a few seconds later the monster was on top of him. Sharp objects impaled him, he felt all the wires and he remembered screaming.

Ranboo is the result of Project Generation Loss, a secret government experiment to create a hyper-advanced race of human weapons by genetically engineering a baby in the womb. He was the only one of the pool of 10 children to survive.
The Failure of the Project came to be known as the Lostfield Incident.
On his 18th birthday, Ranboo is escorted out of the base into a world he has never known to be a perfect assassin. Things get a little complicated when he learns the truth- America was not the first to attempt this, but it was the first to succeed. Everyone wants a weapon like him. When word gets out of his existence, he's transported away to hide in NATO territory until his training is complete- landing him in a safe house with someone altered by science, just like him- but instead of being an assassin and spy, this kid is a dictionary of top-secret MI6 knowledge. The problem? He can't shut up. So now they're hiding. Together.
