Crookedkit hasn't faced much luck in his life, despite having supposed to. He was born in a storm, he was supposed to be a strong, brave, handsome warrior! But that dumb ThunderClan medicine cat scared him and ruined his life. His jaw wasn't his biggest problem. It was his mother and his clan. Really anyone that wasn't Shellheart or Brambleberry. One night, he wakes up in an unfamiliar forest, with vines trailing the ground and the feeling of always being watched. But he never awoke; this was his dream. And it's here he met the worst thing ever. The monster that REALLY ruined his life. And he doesn't know if he can get away from it.

All who know the Warriors tales know of Goosefeather. Bluestar's mad uncle, who raved about prophecies, brought about the death of her mother, saw Tigerclaw's future, and prophesied of Bluestar's great and burning destiny. He has gone down in history as crazy, his only achievement being his prophecy to Bluestar.
But perhaps there was a reason why? Goosefeather's past is a story yet untold - how he became the cat who saw the signs, that was seemingly abandoned by StarClan. Once, he was a young medicine cat with the world before him - but all that changed, when StarClan pronounced their judgment upon him. This is his story - a story of loyalty and love, loss and heartbreak, and the difficulty to choose what is right.

And of your former apprentice yelping loud enough to scare a few starlings out of the trees as they overbalance, paws skidding on the rocky shoreline, splashing shoulder-deep into the river. The fish they were after vanishes upstream. Featherwhisker scrambles backwards, shaking water out of their pelt and right onto your own.

Goosefeather has good days and bad days, but having Featherwhisker around helps make the latter a little easier to deal with.

When Spottedleaf's Heart came out, I had certain expectations that were absolutely crushed into a fine putrid black dust by the fickle pen of whoever thought that book was okay to write. So I rewrote it to be the story I thought we were getting. I hope you enjoy!
