Summary
Hailstar only ever wanted to serve his Clan the best he could. He wanted to be the rock his Clanmates could look to for protection from every harsh leaf-bare, every threat from a rival Clan, and anything that could possibly hurt them... but he couldn't even protect a helpless kit from himself.
He wanted to be a better leader than his father ever was, and only ended up following in his footsteps.
And there was no one to blame but himself. He failed. And there wasn't any good left in him.
(A fanmade novella based on Hailstar of RiverClan from Crookedstar's Promise.)

Summary
Set a quarter-moon after the end of The Broken Code arc. Duststar of WindClan and Emberstar of RiverClan were some of the Clans’ earliest leaders, and they helped in the creation of the first rule of the foundational warrior code: Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle. However, recent unprecedented times for StarClan and the five Clans results in changes to the warrior code becoming a reality. Emberstar and Duststar debate about the reasons for these changes while discussing five half-Clan relationships: Cloudberry and Ryewhisker, Eaglestorm and Squirrelwhisker, Fallowtail and Reedfeather, Beechfur and Gorsetail, and Shellfur and Fernstripe.
Written for the Warrior Cats Big Bang 2023 hosted by Aviator Zoroark.

Summary
Most warriors earn their names after being assessed by their mentors or showing extraordinary bravery in desparate times, but not all warrior ceremonies are shown in the books. Dewpaw, a ThunderClan apprentice, fails his assessment and now must find a different way to earn his name. In the old forest, Otterpaw of RiverClan passed her assessment with flying colors but when her patrol is ambushed her chances of surviving to receive her new name are slim. Crowfeather isn’t the only one who’s struggled to forgive, when a clanmate sneaks out of camp on the eve of her warrior ceremony, Grasspaw will have to heal the rift of distrust in her clan before all is lost. In WindClan, young Leafpaw is faced with the ramifications of trusting the wrong cat, revealing why he refuses to forgive later in the series. Before SkyClan found a home by the lake, Mintpaw is given a dare she can’t refuse, leading her down a path of greatness or great tragedy. Can these apprentices learn from the past and become the warriors they were meant to be?

Summary
Spottedpaw is struggling to find her place in RiverClan, and Shellheart tells the story of the River.
—
In the beginning, there was only the River. It started in the Moon, cascading down the Great Stones, flowing past the High Stones — and that's why the Moonstone has its power, because it's connected to the moon itself through the River.
The River flowed down, winding through the land, branching in many places, mixing with other bodies of water. But one strand of it remained pure.

"But isn't that what the warrior code says?" Stormkit asked quickly...."That you should hunt for the Clan first and everything? So wouldn't that be a good thing?"
Beside him, Featherkit nodded. "Doesn't that mean you would help your Clan the best of all? If you promised that, wouldn't you be the best warrior you could be?"
Crookedstar laughed bitterly. "You'd think so, wouldn't you, little ones? I thought so too. But I was wrong. I was so, so wrong."Crookedstar warns his grandchildren about their family's eternal enemy.
