Escaping from the Dursley's was quite easy, and what was staying at the Leaky Cauldron another few months? It was easy, getting off the train and going through floo. He went to Gringotts to pay for his two month long stay. Then he finds some things out.. quite a lot of things.

Harry Potter evades going back to the Dursley's. By going to Gringotts he finds out Dumbledore is an untrustworthy man, and the trust he had for the old geezer was just a simple potion.
Harry manages to fix himself, in durant the summer he catches up on work he was unable to understand, and then fourth year rolled around.
An interesting twist falls upon him, seem's luck doesn't exist.

Summary
Set at the start of book five. The ever-busy Dumbledore is a little delayed in sending that howler to Petunia, and so when Vernon insists that Harry needs to leave the house as he's clearly a danger to the family, Harry is packed and down the road with no protest, causing the blood wards to break. The Dursleys instantly become a vulnerable target for Death Eaters, and Harry himself is snatched by a Death Eater, but it's Severus Snape and this is coming from a Severitus writer so you've likely already figured out where all of this is going.

Snape didn’t start giving Harry Occlumency lessons because he wanted to help him. He did it because it’s what the headmaster told him to do.

An idea I had been working on with some inspiration from a prompt on Potions and Snitches that helped me fill in finer details: JAWorley Harry is a Werewolf: I want to read a non-slash werewolf story in which Harry is bitten and is a werewolf but nobody knows. He's hiding it (at least for the first third or even half of the story). All other details up to you!

Summary
Harry soldiers on with the get-to-know you activity, noting each counsellor's interests and repeating their names.
Harry’s eyes land on Malfoy. He’s the last counsellor in the circle. One blond eyebrow is arched, his smirky mouth turned up at the corners. That can’t be good.
Harry clutches his clipboard; lets the edge of it dig into his skin. When did Malfoy’s hair get so long? It had only reached his chin the last time Harry saw him.
“Counsellor Malfoy.”
“Potter. Fancy seeing you here.” Malfoy has the same drawl, but it’s deeper. Richer. Like he has in fact grown in the intervening years.
Harry taps his pencil against his clipboard. “Care to share your name and an interesting tidbit?”
“So many of my tidbits are interesting.” Malfoy’s hair falls in loose, golden waves over his shoulders.
Harry regrets the use of the word ‘tidbit’ with every fibre of his being, but he nods gamely at Malfoy. Whatever he says can’t be that bad.
“I’m Draco Malfoy, and I was a teenage Death Eater.”

Summary
Squinting, Harry thinks it looks like a ferret, but before he can confirm anything, the creature scrambles from the table and makes a mad dash for the space under the door. A quick swish and flick lifts the thing into the air and floats it closer. Harry reaches for his glasses and the darkness around him sharpens slightly and, yes, that is definitely a ferret. Pure white with dark, beady eyes. The closer the ferret comes, the louder it squeaks and chirps in what can only be described as anger.

Draco is missing and no one seems to care. There’s also a very prissy ferret that Harry can swear he recognizes. Are these two facts connected? Of course they are.

It’s so sweet and cute. I like the characterization and there’s very little wattpad-influenced character traits/development. Character struggles are a little too spelled out (not really in an angsty way tho). The heart of the story is really nice and Harry knowing he’s the ferret made it so much better. Love and adoration from all characters makes this very heartwarming. They recognize that their obsession was always love.
