Summary
A chapter based slightly longform fanfic exploring some ideas I've had recently, and exploring a character I specifically enjoy a great deal and would like to elevate, at least within the sphere of fanfiction. Also a Convocation of Fourteen piece.
Post 5.3 and occurring six years after the post Calamity start date of 1577, in an invented chronology where game events took place over a long, real life equivalent span of time. Featuring a FWoL, my character Sarah Corehealer, in keeping with the continuity of my main series (of which this can be considered a bit of a spin off), but which focuses on one character, establishing them for use in the series as it continues into 5.4 content fanon.
Archer Guildmaster Luciane Corne has been given the gift of the Echo in a sudden, apparently accidental experience of Hydaelyn's visions in her mind, rendering her weakened and unable to fulfill her role as guildmaster of the Archer's Guild in Gridania. Gifted in this sense but bereft of the Blessing of Light, she travels to Revenant's Toll and other locales to meet the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, seeking answers and aid. In this journey, she becomes reacquainted with a former pupil, and an even older former friend.

If you asked Emet-Selch what he thought of Amaya he would have laughed and mocked the hero. She could never remember the true her and says she is nothing but a form of a pitiful half shard. Not only did he incur her wrath, but he found that every consequence has it's actions.
He is now facing Amaya, the weak and slowly breaking soul, who now remembers who she was and who he was. Who they were together. What they had, and how little left there is of both of them. In the eons he has spent, never once did he feel regret in his plans...until he has to watch her suffer from his own hand.
