The words were spoken calmly and casually as it were a simple fact.
Legend took a moment to glance up at the bright blue cloudless sky before sending their newest Link a raised brow.
They had picked up the latest edition to their ragtag group about a week ago and already Legend had decided the kid was weird.
If it was going to rain, Legend would know. His joints always made sure to tell him well in advance.

The Chain get caught in a storm for the first time since Legend joins and he takes it about as well as expected

Very concerning — Earle called the twins Double Trouble on their own for a reason after all. Adding Gogo to that mix was… often like adding gasoline to a fire.
The outcome outweighs the mess however.

Only... maybe a traumatized sword who was taught that emotions were useless and that all dangers were to be eliminated wasn't the best option to raise a child told from a young age he would be tasked with protecting the goddesses bloodline.

Hyrule flexed his arm with a small wince. He hadn’t been paying enough attention, and one of the Bokoblins had jumped out at him, getting a clean slice through his arm before Twilight had killed it. The injury had gone unnoticed in the commotion, and Hyrule wouldn’t bring attention to it. It was minor, after all, and he would be fine without any healing supplies.
A small injury leads Hyrule to spiral out of control. Mind the tags/TWs.

“‘M jus’... not worth it,” he says quietly, so quietly he can barely hear himself. “‘Not worth stayin’ for, I mean. ‘N I dunno how I’m foolin’ y’all into thinkin’ so.”
Silence stretches between them, thick and heavy. Twilight digs one of his canines into his lip as guilt swarms in his throat; that wasn’t fair. It’s not right to just dump shit on people just because he’s feeling like this. Legend’s eyes have gone wide, his body still, like he’d just now understood something. Twilight throws back another gulp of whiskey and tells himself it’s because of the resulting burn that there’s tears in his eyes.
“Yeah,” Legend says suddenly and slowly, drawing out the word by the vowels. “Fuck that, actually.”
- - -or: Twilight alone with his thoughts and a bottle of whiskey is never a good combination. Legend decides it's time to smack some sense into him.

"It only took them a few moments to realize something was wrong after the last of the monsters fell to their blades, but there is no telling how long Hyrule had been missing before then. None of them know. Wild is likely the last one who saw him, as he mentioned that Hyrule was at his side when the second wave of monsters came in, but that still doesn’t give them anything definitive, as Wind admitted he didn’t even realize there had been a second wave. Even Time and Warriors are unsure, the latter suggesting the second wave could have occurred anywhere from fifteen to twenty minutes previous. And that really influences how far the Hero of Hyrule could've gone.
Hyrule is missing."
(Or: Hyrule goes missing after getting separated from the Chain after an intense battle and Legend fails miserably at not blaming himself for the whole thing.)
