    The hinges had groaned, and the door caught for a moment before it began to move more easily.

    But that’s where Leo’s luck had given out. The edge of the door had begun to swing forward faster than Leo had been prepared for. It had knocked into his bad leg, which had whited out his vision at the same time he’d felt himself falling forward. Automatically, he’d thrown his hand out to catch himself on the wall, but only found open space, he’d dropped his crutches automatically trying to find something, anything to grab onto to stop himself from falling, and had found the edge of the doorframe. He’d had just a moment to realize he was on the wrong side of the closet door when something heavy had knocked into his shell.

    With his balance already precarious, and his fingers wet with sweat from all the walking he’d been doing, his tedious grip was wrenched free from the doorframe as he was shoved deeper into the closet before the door had shut, enclosing him in darkness.

    Leonardo held up a hand. “You two can both be dumbasses once we’re back in our dimension, but for now, cool it. We’re on a mission. Act like it.”

    Raphael pulled a face, but they both quieted down. Ooh. Leo would have to steal that trick. Maybe it’d work better than the tears that he usually resorted to when the guys got like this. Not that it worked very well.

    “Booooo! No, you know the rules! No seriousness on Lazy Sundays!” Mikey is a big proprietor of lazy days and makes sure everyone follows the rules of having a stress free day. It works only because it guilts them all to rest, if only so Mikey isn’t stressing about them not resting.

    “It’s Thursday Micheal.”

    “Yeah but it has the spirit of Lazy Sunday”

    “Guys!” Raph’s outburst brings their attention back to him, but their deadpan stares show they still don’t appreciate the seriousness Raph is trying to infringe upon their relaxation.

    “Guys, we got a code Sleepy Slider on our hands.” Raph’s voice is grim, his face shadowed with the weight of the situation they find themselves in.

    With the code spoken, Donnie and Mikey sit at attention.

    In universe 2003, Donnie tries to experiment with the inter dimensional gun the 1987 turtles had given him. Instead, he accidentally creates a multiversal chat room for many different versions of his brothers, and counting.
    It certainly makes life…interesting.

    Leo’s insomnia was at it’s peak after the whole Kraang Shebang, late night thoughts absolutely demolishing his sleep schedule. Somehow that ends up becoming the main factor in Leo landing in a fifty-something year old woman’s apartment at the ripe time of three am.

    Since both of them are tired as fuck, the insomiacs come to the conclusion of becoming late night no sleep buddies, and old lady Rose finds herself quickly becoming a parental/guardian figure in this poor sad teenage turtle’s life. Leo goes crazy trying to figure out how to keep this a secret from his brothers.

    TLDR: Leo accidentally adopts a sour old Grandma named Rose as his Parental/Guardian figure and shit hits the fan.
