Summary
During Michael's time in hell, he had to scrub the floors with no help. There were bound to be some unseen bacteria and other small forms of life down there. Michael had no idea he picked anything up until he was released to earth. Now with his mental state quickly declining, the angel has to grapple with himself to get help. Unfortunately, the only source of help is his twin, Lucifer.

Summary
🌗 Lucifer is putting back the pieces after he nearly self-destructed (himself and the universe) because his twin was in a different universe. After learning that their powers can become deadly if they don't balance each other, they're settling into a pattern in which Michael visits occasionally, and their Dad has forged a weak, but persistent connection between them mediated by the silver cuffs they each wear.
Lucifer's relationship with Chloe did not survive these events, but there's been a phase change in his friendship with Ella, and they are exploring something new and exciting together. Where will it go from here?

Full Moon June prompt for Mirror:
Michael comes to Los Angeles to mess with Lucifer's life while he's in Hell. While practicing his ruse in Lucifer's full-length mirror, something strange happens and he suddenly finds himself in Hell, occupying Lucifer's body, while Lucifer finds himself in Los Angeles in Michael's body.
This is a state of affairs that neither twin is at all happy with. Now they need to figure out how to swap back... without killing themselves first.

Okay - let me preface this by saying my muse is to blame for this. The story you are about to read takes place WAY before the show. The only characters in here are from the bible and other biblical books. So if you're looking for a Chloe/Lucifer type of thing, this ain't it. The story is entirely my own. I've taken liberties here - A lot of them. Though the Lucifer, (known here as Sammāʾēl), we know and love still has his attitude, he does not look like he did in the show. This takes place in London in 1652.
Let's just say this - Have I ever let you down before? I know you're gonna love it. (I hope)

Angels were never meant to have childhoods. God created them in forms and with abilities He found useful. But then God reformed the twins Lucifer and Michael into children in a fit of anger. Lucifer has since been restored to his original adult form. However, Michael, despite facing what appears to be angel puberty [which was never supposed to be a thing], finally becomes the rebel his brother always was. He refuses to be an adult again, refuses to accept the responsibilities he has always held. Instead, he runs away, determined to really get to know humanity--and maybe even himself--after all this time.
