Someone from our world pulled into Middle Earth is a theme that is done a great deal, but rarely done in a realistic way. A lot of things are rarely flushed out: why would such a thing happen? How? What would it truly be like for someone who is a real fan of Tolkien and has so much knowledge of that world to sudden be tossed into that world? What kind of struggles would they face? What would it be like to meet these storybook characters whose fates you know when they are flesh and blood people? What would it be like to carry such a weight? These are things I often think about & lead me to writing down what I thought it may be like.
"To Tumble Into Middle Earth", is an exploration of those thoughts and follow the OFC Helen, a fan of Tolkien, who finds herself faced with the impossible. She must figure out what to do now that she stands before these people she thought were fairy tales. Will she use her knowledge of Middle Earth or will the burden of knowing break her?
Eventual romance. Some Angst. Language Barrier(for a time). Valar meddling. Gandalf is amused.

Summary
A peculiar ranger captain, commanding a rowdy garrison of Southwestern Ithilien men at the Poros outpost, is reassigned to Osgiliath with his subordinates. Finding himself serving under Faramir and his elder Captain-General brother, the man finds he would rather be reading books and harassing Haradrim at his former post than combating orcs from Mordor with the Steward-sons. But as time passes, the Steward-sons begin to question the captain's personal background and talents. Will they come to learn something from this quirky, book-reading man? Is he a man at all?
In which one very smart young woman changes the tide of the future, Faramir is confused yet starstruck, Boromir is amused, and Denethor wants her hung for numerous counts of treason.

Three girls: Rosie, Frankie and Cece find themselves rolling off the side of a road and crashing in a thicket of trees. It's a tumble downhill, full of bumps, bruises but thankfully, no broken bones. Waking up from the crash, they find themselves somewhere magical, mysterious and that was certainly not home. Discovered by a strange-looking man, he leads them back to the main road...of Middle Earth.
They are in the story of The Hobbit, trapped and unsure of how to get back. They are then faced with the fact that they will not be going home any time soon, so will they help the dwarves reclaim theirs?
