Summary
Due to an unnamed Transformer, Sentinel Prime's planned betrayal gets exposed before the Thirteen can fall victim to his ambush. This is unprecedented and with betrayal clouding their judgement, the Primes must punish Sentinel for helping the enemy.
Sentinel Prime suffers heavily for his betrayal.

Most of my thoughts after watching the movie for the first time were actually posted on Twitter, but I wanted to write about it~
Setting: Primes once developed the ability to store tiny "Spark's will" in objects for long-distance observation. Megatronus had no interest in those promotional stickers at the time, but after he returned to The Allspark, he did not I feel extremely lucky for this sudden decision...
After Orion got the sticker, he couldn't give it to D immediately. He kept it on him for a while, but he didn't know that he happened to be observed by a certain Prime from the past...

I am Optimus Prime, the last of the Thirteen Primes, and it is my solemn duty to recount the tale of the lost and lasting legacy of the first children of Primus—the Thirteen.
How did we come to be? What manner of Cybertronians were we, truly? And perhaps the most haunting question of all—what became of us? This is what I shall answer, but of course I’ll have some help.

If so, you'd know the gist of Transformers Isolated, and that all the cool characters are dead. But what happened to them? Many things happened to many bots, and that's what The Cybertron Chronicles aims to tell. This is a prequel to Isolated, and will be written as an anthology, with each chapter being centered around a different event/character/group. I plan to make the actual Transformers Isolated a comic series, but The Cybertron Chronicles being short stories are perfect for text-only storytelling. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! Oh, and I'll try to keep it in chronological order, but I'm making zero promises.

But with Sentinel Prime (holding the Matrix of Power) missing, the various Primes have become overzealous and disjointed in the ruling of the Cybertronian populace. On a quest to document this and reform the Primacy, Optimus stumbles upon a mech that seems pretty hellbent on untangling the Primal system and giving control of Cybertron to the masses.
