It’s a play called Weep for the Night that they attend at the Sunset City Theatre just outside of the capital city and it’s beautiful. Zuko finds himself leaning forward over his knees, eyes wide with fascination, barely staying on his seat as he watches. He remembers the stories his mother will read to him sometimes, but even though she does the voices, it’s nothing compared to the swelling orchestra, intricate costumes, strategic lighting, and sculpted dialogue of the theatre.
