Summary
Murderbot must infiltrate a company facility to obtain spare parts. Along the way it grapples with the terrifying responsibility of caring - for itself, for Three, and for company-owned constructs who may not be willing or able to accept change.
Sayatsugu has provided outstanding art to accompany this fic, which you can see in Chapter 4. Check out her Tumblr, too:

Summary
“SecUnit, what’s your favorite smell?” Double ugh. How the fuck was I supposed to answer this without being rude?
“I like it when there isn’t a smell.” There, that was a positive spin on my negativity, I guess. Maybe I should have lied, though. Everyone in the shuttle was frowning to some degree. Way to bring down the mood, Murderbot.
“You don’t like any smells?” Iris asked.

Iris’ heart sank. She had heard SecUnit speak those words before, and hated it. She didn't want to hear her friend tell her to leave it behind to die.

Summary
I had been incredibly skeptical when Ratthi had sent me ‘Midnight Eclipse.’ I knew what fanfiction was, I had seen it in the more niche entertainment feeds before. Never specifically for Sanctuary Moon, but I'd assumed it existed. That didn't mean I had any actual interest in it, though. When I had first looked at them, I hadn't liked them. The quality varied too much and a lot of them weren't finished, or were really short, or really out of character. And I hated that. I really really hated that.
This one was different.

When a terraforming inspection team from The Divarti Cluster is cut off from rescue by a deadly storm, they think the one team member from Preservation is foolish to expect a rescue. Dr. Ratthi knows that his friends will come get them no matter how bad the odds seem.

It's nice to know that you will be missed. I wonder if Murderbot 2.0 knew that it would be missed. I wonder if Units 1 and 2 knew that they would be missed, but I know the answer to that.

Summary
"You're a space wizard, Murderbot. You'll hate it. It'll be great." - The Force, probably
If Murderbot ever proves the Force is sentient, it will plot to murder the shit out of the Force.
So maybe I should’ve noticed I had bullshit magic powers sooner, but in my defense I didn’t think magic was real. Most sane people would insist magic isn’t real.
Wait, whoops, the ghosts would claim it’s not magic. It’s “the Force” (in case you’re wondering, yes, you can hear the capitalization), and I’m a “Force-sensitive” which means I’m able to manipulate the mysterious, supernatural (but definitely not magical) force that a bunch of old dead monks decided to name the Force. (Not that I’m making fun of their naming sense. It’s apt even if it must’ve gotten confusing sometimes.)

Pin-Lee is accustomed to having the last word. That's harder to handle when the word in question is "goodbye."

Ahhhhh chills. “The end of a chapter, the start of a journey” sort of atmosphere.
At the end of the ART debacle, Pin-Lee has an airport good-bye with Murderbot and melts into a huuuge oopy goopy softie. She hides it pretty well though 🫵🤨

The pings were all from Overse’s interface and routed from a transit ring called Trans-All, the kind of ping that was just are you in range – are you in range – are you in range. It was a call for help and it fucking terrified me, because I was answering it way, way too late.

Summary
When malware takes over SecUnit and it nearly kills three of ART's crew, ART is left with two bad options: keep the governor module on with ART as the Client, or partition off part of itself and stick it in SecUnit's head.
Whichever option they choose, they had better make it work, because SecUnit is firmly centered in the crosshairs of its former owner, the most paranoid and ruthless company in the entire corporation rim. As things quickly get worse, destroying the company--something SecUnit has long considered impossible--might just be the only way to survive.

Murderbot doesn't believe plants count as clients, but as it escorts ART in a cultural exchange between Preservation and the Pansystem, with ART transporting multiple cargo modules of native Preservation flora to the Pansystem University of Mihira and New Tideland, maybe there's something to all that foliage Murderbot can come to understand.

Summary
Murderbot (and for some reason Ratthi*) have joined the crew of the Perihelion on a mission to investigate a station on a planet that was abandoned after an attempted mining operation failed. A salvage company that had sent a mission to the planet a few years ago had also mysteriously abandoned the planet. As Murderbot explores the abandoned station, it and the crew discover that someone is still living there.

Summary
“I don't remember what I did,” I said, rallying enough to try and sound annoyed, despite the fact I was completely shaken. “So can I go back to my bunk and let you yell at me when I know what you're yelling at me about?”
If you try to leave this room before we have had this discussion, ART said, its voice barely able to stay even, Three will shoot you. Nonlethally. But it will shoot you.
I paused for three whole seconds.
“Okay,” I said.

Summary
The one good thing about ART not being around was that I could ignore its instructions not to do anything stupid.
A bundle of thick cables ran from deeper within Three’s chest into what I knew were its power cells. I picked up the cable trailing out of my energy weapon, disconnected one of Three’s, and plugged mine in.
----
Murderbot and ART follow a distress signal and find Three at the bottom of an abandoned mining installation.
