Summary
Nines was supposed to come home last night. He never did.
There is something or someone decimating androids in the streets of Detroit, stealing their parts and draining their blue blood dry. Despite all warnings from his friends and coworkers about not going out with everything going on, Connor is determined to find Nines no matter what. He does eventually find his boyfriend, but is horrified to see that stare that he is in. Modified and experimented on, the sight of Nines makes Connor want to cry.
In order to survive they have to rely on each other. They are the only ones that can help the other, so they do what they must in order to make sure the other lives to see another day.
In the end, who is really the monster?

Summary
Hank and Connor continue to work as partners in the DPD, solving android related crimes. Five months after the revolution, while investigating a homicide, they figure out the last painting Carl Manfred made before his death has been stolen.
As they attempt to solve the case and catch the killer, Connor begins to realise his feelings for his partner run deeper than a simple friendship, while he's still struggling with the guilt of his actions pre-deviancy.

Hank is staring at his fingers, which are still in his mouth. He pulls them out, wet with his analysis fluid. The tension in the air has changed, it is almost palpable. His scans inform him the lieutenant’s heart rate has increased significantly within the last ten seconds, as has his blood pressure. His pupils have widened, and lips are parted.
He breathes out slowly to cool down his processors, an action he rarely has to perform. The temperature warning disappears from his HUD. Their eyes meet and Connor-
‘Got somethin’ bigger to stuff in your mouth, tin can!’
The air clears, both men look at the corner of the bar in the direction of the voice. ‘Fuck off!’ Hank yells before Connor even has the chance to open his mouth.
He places the tumbler back on the bar, where Hank takes it and gulps the remaining liquid down in one go. Hank’s body is turned away from him now, and he refuses to look in his direction. His features are hard, and cold, as he grips the glass so tight Connor would have been afraid it might break if he weren’t able to calculate the glass is able to endure the pressure. He isn’t sure if Hank’s rage is directed at the man or someone else – had he done something wrong?

Now he's living in the aftermath of a revolution, and struggling with his newfound emotions, back in his old job at the station. He blames himself for the raid, and the world hates him for being made of plastic. Humans hate him for being an android, androids hate him for acting too human, and he hates himself for a plethora of reasons.
Can he learn to be alive like everyone else? Can he have a family like Kara? Or fall in love like Markus?
TW: mentions of non-con, graphic depictions of suicide attempts, canon-typical swearing but now North swears too because- let's be honest, she deserves to swear, also tons of violence because Connor has his job back as a detective, so like, crime scenes and blood licking.
