Twenty-three year-old Azula is scheduled to perform as Maddalena in a modernized version of Republic City's production of Rigoletto by Verdi. Recent conservatory graduate and opera ingenue Ty Lee auditions for the role of Gilda and gets the part. Azula and Ty Lee perform alongside one another, becoming fast friends on the set of the opera and a romance blossoms between them about as fast. No homophobia or dark themes in this fic.

Azula was a monster, everyone knew it, even her own mother. She was a perfect weapon who was loyal to her Father, the only one who cared for her, and no one else, and then Ty Lee kissed her, one stupid kiss on the cheek. It didn't mean anything, of course, friends kissed all the time! But then it kept happening, and the more it did, the more she kept wanting it, wanting Ty Lee, and even as the rest of the world rips apart around them, they still try to hold on to one another.

Summary
Silence hangs between them and Azula wants to flee, wants to take the words back and return to her room but Zuko shifts and pulls her into a hug before she can do any of those things. “Do you love me and mom?”
The question catches her by surprise. Zuko is gentle and kind-hearted, certainly in comparison to herself and their father, so while she doubted he would push her away, she had expected him to ask her what she did that was cruel and hateful. Not this.
“Of course I do.”
The problem is, she doesn’t think her version of love is the good kind.
Or, Ursa isn't a completely terrible parent and that changes nearly everything.

But I'm not a good writer nor good at writing deep characters so it might be an ametour job. Also this is my first time writing for the Avatar fandom and I'm not very used to write them.

Summary
It's not a secret that the Fire nation Prince and Princess don't get along. They've been at each others throats since they were toddlers, and it's almost always Azula that starts it. Everyone knows that Princess Azula doesn't like her brother. But maybe thats not the whole truth. The flames that sear Zuko's face in that awful Agni Kai spark a destructive anger in her heart, and suddenly she can't stand by while her father gets away with this level of cruelty.

They are hated by the world around them. They know that.
They will never be allowed time to rest. They know that.
Zuzu likes to tell her that all they can strive for is survival. Lala likes to tell him that they should just burn it all down. They disagree, but then, what siblings don't have disagreements?
They're still sticking by each other, thank you oh so much. It's not as if they have anyone else, they've already proven they'd be betrayed.
But they would never betray each other. Never.
Zuzu and Lala take on the world, and all of their enemies with it.

Summary
After his duel, Zuko had fled to the Earth Kingdom where he has been living for the past 3 years, living as a farmer and a healer after being adopted by a nice Earth Kingdom family, presumed dead by the Fire Nation when disappearing while injured, giving Iroh a chance to keep Azula from staying loyal to her father. Given a chance to heal & find people who genuinely care about him with no ties or loyalty to his father, he is able to be saved from growing bitter and jaded after years of failing at a mission. Using his alias as The Blue Spirit as a healer who has learned to use firebending to heal as opposed to as a thief and assassin, he is able to influence views on firebending from both the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes as wells as firebenders themselves. He comes across the Gaang in the harbor town he has been living in, connecting with them as a healer who still remembers how to fight from what his life used to be, joining their cause before they even reach the Northern Water Tribe.
This is a series, I have posted a summary at the end of the 1st part if you don't want to read Zuko's recovery arc. I would suggest reading it, but it isn't plot heavy and I'm not here to tell you how to live your life.

In this AU, a lot of roles are swapped around, the Fire Nation is still a thing but instead, but it was the Southern Water Tribe that attacked instead of the Fire Nation, Zuko and Azula are the only two fire benders left in the nation's capital as all the other went off to fight or are already dead, Sokka is the banished Chief’s son on the hunt to find the Avatar and get his honor back, as for Katara you’ll have to wait for book two before seeing her at all. Now how about we jump into this fanfic?

Summary
This fic explores Ty Lee's journey navigating the world as a person with AuDHD. She becomes fast friends with Azula in high school and the two grow closer throughout high school and college. Ty Lee develops feelings for her pretty quickly, though she doesn't realize it until later, when a romance blossoms between the two of them. This fic is less dark than most of my other projects and Azula is a bit less intense than her canon counterpart, but it contains some themes of bullying, mental health issues, compulsory heterosexuality, homophobia, internalized homophobia and family dysfunction.
