Summary
I do Whumptober 2023, except I might not be following the rules exactly? So I don’t intend for it to be an official submission. Idk tbh. I just read the prompts and wrote a fic based on one or two per day, sometimes three if it worked, but not really.
Oh and they’re all about Legend from Linked Universe, because he needs more content and so it’s all Legend-centric.

Summary
Sky, Twilight and Warriors decide take advantage of the fact they are staying in a town for more than a one night and visit a tavern. There they witness a group of men behaving horribly. Being heroes, and more importantly decent people, they can't let it slide.

Summary
It took him what felt like a decade to collect himself. He was a Hero of Courage, and strangely enough he was still here, in this plane of existence. He had enough experience dealing with spirits to know that if he had died and turned into a ghost, it meant that he hadn't moved on. It meant he still had things to do.
With that new resolve invigorating him, he decided to open his eyes once more and analyze the situation. It couldn't be that bad, right?
OK, no. It was bad, it was so bad.
OR: Wind dies, but not really, at least not entirely. He's still around as a ghost, after all. Fortunately for him, Wolfie finds him. Unfortunately for Wolfie, he finds Wind.

Except he hears a distress call, one that merfolk make, and decides to investigate in a cave that opens into a cavern. He fails to see the flaw in this logic until he finds out what was making that call.

Summary
Legend wouldn’t lose them like others might as he understood the pain of trying to track them back down as well as just how much damage the two of them could cause. Individually they could be difficult, but together? It was if they both fed off the other’s curious energy, running off at the first sight of anything that moved or sparkled. Twilight knew this, but more than that Legend did. Wild would be perfectly fine with him.
Except he wasn’t with Legend.
Because Legend was currently walking alone through the crowd on the opposite side of the market.

The group had gone silent at the newfound information. They felt bad for putting on the spot like that, even if it was by accident. Surprisingly though, Legend was the one to break the awkward silence, “Ah, I forgot to mention, I don’t exactly live alone.” He told them as they all reached the doorsteps. “Just a quick warning, he can sometimes be a bit, eccentric I suppose is a way you can put it.”
Legend started to reach for the doorknob as he continued his talking, “Now–”
Legend hadn’t even got the chance to lay a finger on the knob before the door flew open and a blur of purple rammed itself into their dear Hero of Legends.
“Mr Hero, you’re home!”

Summary
Legend had one job the second time he was dragged on a quest that involved time travel and ancestors, and the second time a quest involved meeting other heroes: Don't get attached.
Thankfully, the other heroes seemed to believe the mask he wore, and most of them didn't bother with him as a result except to argue, especially Twilight and Warriors. Now, if only someone could tell the kid behind the mask to stop reaching out to the brothers he lost after Hytopia, that would be great.
And if they could stop the pouring, frigid rain so Legend wouldn't get even sicker, that would also be great.
