Summary
Zuko suddenly felt his skin heat with white-hot rage. It was a miracle from Agni that flames did not instantly burst from his fingertips as he clutched the table before him, knuckles white. “Excuse me?! You dare place guards before my room, to keep my Fire Lady from exiting?!” He yelled, uncaring if anybody in the other room heard him lash out now. “You had better have a very, very good reason for this, Zhaoran.”
Zhaoran’s expression flickered, obviously offended when Zuko left out his title of High Sage, but at this moment Zuko did not care for respect. The fact that the elder was sitting here unburned was all the respect Zuko could offer through his anger.
“Fire Lord Zuko, today doesn’t just mark your fifth year of union with Fire Lady Katara, but it is also the Day of Black Sun.”

It hadn’t been any longer than a week since the renovations of the throne room had been completed that Fire Lord Zuko had announced that he and the Fire Lady would be holding a royal audience with any Fire Nation citizens seeking redress of grievances held under previous Fire Lord Ozai’s rule. Basically a what if scenario where Sokka went to find Zuko after he tried to convince The GAang to let him join them instead of Toph with romance
--
Yet, as he went to sleep for the night he couldn’t help but over analyze everything Zuko said. Who he was looking at. What he was saying. Why was he saying it. Zuko had been on the hunt for them for so long, not once had he tried to be good without his own personal gain. However, Sokka couldn’t find a different strategy, any underlying clue that Zuko wasn’t being sincere in his words or actions. Why did he even care? Sokka had no reason to analyze Zuko, but he seemed almost desperate. Who would willingly give themselves up to, not to brag, such a strong team? Just to capture the Avatar? It didn’t seem right.

Summary
Zuko joins Team Avatar at the Western Air Temple, hoping to restore his honor by choosing a new path. What he doesn’t expect is the way Katara’s scent hits him like lightning.
Katara has been suppressing her heat since she presented as an Omega, but after the Day of Black Sun, her supply ran out and fate is no longer something she can outrun.
The legends speak of two souls, scattered across time and nations, drawn together by the balance of the world.
The Water Tribe calls them Fatebound.
The Fire Nation names them Agni’s Chosen.
Zuko doesn’t believe in fate. He doesn’t believe in soulbonds or destiny.
Katara always believed in stories.
She’s the ocean. He’s full of fire.
They’re not supposed to fit.
But something ancient is waking.
The bond is forming.
The heat is coming.
And neither of them is ready for what it means. -

Summary
"Sokka stares at the blank wall in front of him. The more he burns holes into the white plaster with his eyes, the more the memories seep from his brain and onto the wall. The shadows cast by the dawn outside morph and dance around. One room. Two people. He inhales the scent of past whispers and intimidation. The imperceptible white hues shift in Sokka’s vision, portraying a younger version of himself, and someone who, to him, is now a ghost."
"Something bad happened when I was younger."
"I had a family friend. She was a year older than me."
"When we were alone, she made me do stuff, things I didn’t want to do,”
"Like stuff with our bodies”"Zuko, I-I promise it wasn't my fault, I didn’t want to do it,”
"It w-wasn’t my fault. I didn’t want it."or
Sokka confronts the ghosts of his past, who manipulated him, and Zuko is there to pick up the pieces.

Summary
The war is over, but the scars remain. When Katara agrees to help rebuild the Fire Nation, it’s not out of compassion—it’s duty. Zuko has withdrawn since becoming Fire Lord, and now, they clash in new ways: politics, justice, and healing a broken nation. Tension grows—in glances, silences, arguments.
Then, an ancient tradition accidentally binds them in an unbreakable public engagement.
The scandal erupts. Aang breaks up with Katara. Sokka and Toph write, but she rarely answers. Isolated, Katara focuses on diplomacy—until she starts to see Zuko differently. And in an eclipse, trapped in a cave, Katara begins to understand just how much he's hiding—and how much she’s still running from herself.

Summary
Zuko has always despised these royal balls even before his banishment. Returning after three years feels like stepping into a world frozen in time, where nothing’s changed even though everything has. While Zuko tries to fade into the background, Azula shines like a diamond. Typical.
But when a seasoned general twice her age starts to get dangerously close, Zuko expects Azula to scorch him or threaten him or blackmail him at the very least. Instead, she just stands there and lets it happen. Something inside Zuko snaps and even though it’s against his better judgment, he can’t stop himself from stepping in.
