It was something Technoblade had noticed with Ranboo, that whenever they were sick or injured, or otherwise not doing the best, they had a tendency to just completely lose all ability to properly care for themself.
They certainly never turned to anyone for help (which Technoblade would be more willing to complain about if he weren't the same way). It was unfortunately not an entirely uncommon occurrence for Technoblade or Philza to stumble across the kid curled up in their shack with untreated wounds or passed out in the kennel with a bad cold.
Technoblade finds a mildly injured Ranboo asleep in his living room and gets them patched up.

Ranboo wanted to know if Tubbo was mad. If he was hurt. Because if he just didn’t say anything about it, then Ranboo had no chance to explain. In this forced silence, it would have felt like pushing himself on Tubbo, are you mad at me? Come on, you can tell me, I know we’ve never even used that word around each other but I promise it’s alright. Of course Tubbo wouldn’t have talked.
Was this how Phil had felt back in winter? Helpless, knowing there was more beneath the surface but not knowing how to coax it out in fear of pushing it down deeper? Ranboo looked at Tubbo, squatted down by the bushes as he was, cheeks full of berries. Patience had worked on Ranboo. It had broken through his shell at last, had turned the space between him and his partners from living tension into a soft, loving thing. This was all he could do for Tubbo. One thing at a time.
