Thirty days had passed and Olimar could only get eight parts out of the thirty he needed for his ship. He had no choice but to get his ship working to make it back home.
He unfortunately fails and passes away shortly after his ship violently crashes. Usually this is where it ends, a Hocotate who had been fated to die the moment he set foot on this planet.
The Pikmin won't let him die like that though.

Even after everything he's been through, including facing some truly terrible foes, he's still worse off than when he first started out. Is Olimar destined to be in a constant loop of suffering and loneliness, or will he find peace with himself and his unfortunate circumstances?
Although, contrary to what he believes, he’s not alone in this.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy reads, with regards to breaking and entering a Koppaite ship: “Plagiarism of a concept or idea from a mainstream sci-fi series is worthy of scorn, much as an alien stowaway deserves a little scorn for getting into the juice supplies. Speaking of stowaways and petty robbery, the S.S. Drake had really ought to improve the locks on its doors.”
The Guide, unfortunately, has yet to receive an edition small enough for Koppaite hands, so this information goes largely unused and unnoticed.

So for the last 100 days until Pikmin 4 was released, I had been lazily drawing at least one Pikmin, starting with the canon types, then the ones in that development notebook, then I let myself loose with a ton of fan types. I'm posting the end result here, and might post some other related images. This was done in Paint.net only using a few tools.

Or is he doomed to die alone. Only time will tell.
