The thought came unbidden, sharp and unwelcome. Zuko froze, his mind immediately rejecting it. No . He chided himself, forcing the insane notion away. It was just another way his mind was trying to drive him into greater peril. He still had his inner flame; he could still feel the sun. He was a firebender.
Zuko must now face the trials that come with being alive as well as tackling the most important question; Why is he alive?

In the era after Korra, the new Avatar has become corrupted by dark influences, both within himself and from external factors. He uses the Avatar's powers to create chaos, destruction and imbalance, instead of peace and balance. Now the race is on to find four Demi-Avatars chosen by Raava to help save humanity, stop the deranged Avatar and save him and the Avatar Line from his corruption--before it is too late and the Avatar is lost to the darkness forever. This is a fanon continuation of the Avatar series, taking place in a modern-day Avatar universe, with modern technology and society.
LotDA was written in 2020-21 in script form by D. Cavallero, with R. Willing and J. Vilarelle. The main plot was devised by Willing and Vilarelle, with Cavallero adding additional plot points and character designs and development.

The Fire Lord can be found by strolling past through multiple pillars, an indication that he's hoping to find the Avatar himself in the royal garden where they used their post-training hours to spent time feeding those turtle ducks together.
Until a quack noise instantly piques his interest as his gaze immediately looks over where it's coming from, inaudibly walking up to the coloured currant red fence. The hands that were behind his back hurriedly drifted to clutch onto the fence, hoping again that it's him.
As he just anticipated, it is him.
A somewhat sweet reunion between the Fire Lord and the Avatar. Though, Sozin yearns something more than them just being best friends.
