June thought Palm Grove Resort was supposed to be their biggest trip together in months. A luxury, remote island off the coast of Australia for four days sounded perfect for her, Ryan, Vonnie, Carmen and McCoy to spend their time. It'd taken so long for them to figure things out, the planning, days of work, everything. Now that everything was all coming together, June couldn't shake the feeling her time there would be riveting.
Or, that's what June had hoped it would be.
Note: This fic is an alternative ending to Rot in Paradise. It starts around the last scene of the game. DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS !

Vincent doesn't want to be here. Sure, he's got that stupid little waiter boy and his sister, but it's too crowded for his liking.
Augustine is too worried about Winnie, who is too carefree to have fun. He knows what happened last time he stopped paying attention to the road in front of him.
Da-Jeong wants to get back to her wedding, but now is a good time to fix those broken ties with Bok-su. At least.
Angelica’s worried, this place looks like a death trap! Nevertheless, Forcas’s comforts do help her.
June, still scared of what happened on that island, doesn't want to go anywhere. But, Ryan is sure she'll be okay. She always bounces back.
Let's sit back and watch as their friends die, just to be waiting in that cursed elevator once they finish the activity.

Winnie needed Augustine back. He crossed many lines, he fucked up up and he knew it.
Augustine couldn't explain how sorry he was. After that stupid fight. It was a eye opener. But it was harder to get redeemed to him (more so yourself) if you're in an apocalypse
Angelica was tired. Tired of the nosebleeds. Tired of wondering where Forcas was. Tired of praying and never getting answered. It hurt every time.
Rody really did miss Manon. He never could tell her sorry or at least understand the end of their relationship more from her. And weirdly he couldn't stop thinking about it.
Bok-su found herself in a constant state of emptiness. Not angier or sadness. Nothing. No depth or anything. It wasn't even because of the apocalypse. And she knew she had to take the source of the problem down.
Protag wanted answers. He wanted to have that night explained to him. He wanted (REDACTED) to explain why to had to be him. He wanted a shoulder to lean on

I Have now realized that this has only made my writing skills way, way worse. So I am now trying to "recover" from the damage done to my own writing and push myself.
