Until a ‘promise’ Sans made with Frisk leads to him telling a long and complicated story. His story, well not exactly 'his', but with as many questions as it answers, it seems to raise more. One thing is for sure; this tale will change everything.

A year has passed since Frisk has freed the Underground, and their desire to learn more about their friends hasn't stopped there. After asking Asgore about the lack of skeleton monsters and realizing that the mystery behind Sans and Papyrus goes much further than they thought, they set out to find answers. What started as one question quickly spirals, and they and their friends stumble into something bigger than they ever could have imagined.

Summary
Sans hid so many things from everyone around him. He had gotten used to having the RESETs to undo it when he slipped up, but Frisk had stopped resetting, and that meant that if Sans happened to slip up, he had to face actual consequences.
Like, for example, accidentally admitting his jacket was from a family member while his little brother was in the room under the impression that they only family they had were each other.
TL;DR, Sans fucks up and Papyrus wants answers.

After a few resets, Sans and his group are finally on the surface. The kid hasn't made a move to do it again which is great. Sometimes random bouts of pain pop up but he'll be fine.
Well except for the nightmares and the weird shadows he has been seeing around the kid and that flower that is. With all this nausea he doesn't think he can 'stomach' this all-!

So, I watched a video titled loser, PAPY by Garbage Chocolate on YouTube and decided that the ideas were cool enough to be its own mini-AU.
Over time, Sans realized days were repetitive in more than the day to day or deja-vu. The day was literally reverting back and he seemed to be the only one who knew. It was only after the second genocide run that he realized why.
