(Rainworld belongs to Videocult) Everyone knows the Ackerson family, a unique and quirky family of Slugcats living their lives day by day. But the family has an interesting relationship with a group of combat purposed organisms with a variety of skills. Commanding officers, combat specialists, covert operators, and geniuses all find time to put aside their work and spend time with family. The world might be a mess that requires them to fight the unseen battles, but even full-time jobs have down time to simply enjoy the quiet life they are fighting for. Time may march onwards, family ties remain no matter what.

Theoretically, yes, it should be possible to grow a purposed organism from nothing but a little cells encoded with artificial DNA. It's just that it's a lot easier to use cells that are already there. So, we've devised another means of production. It's not like they'll be able to tell anyone, anyways. It would be in the best interest for the House to keep quiet on this; we silence any opposition for them in turn for some money.

Since the common people have been introduced to The Void, there has been a sharp incline in disappearances. First, they reported every instance of it. Then, it was a regular occurrence to find that one's neighbor has gone, their departure unnoted. Not though ascension; there'd be one thing left behind, their memoire and nothing else, all their worldly possessions graciously donated. They'd find that all their things were still there. No wonder they left through the pool of blackness in their room, being so attached to this carnal plane. How could one want to stay, having been failed by the very gods just beneath?
