Five Pebbles never liked animals, some would say he hated them. Cycles ago he'd be disgusted with the idea of living with one, let alone calling it his best friend. But now as he lay in bed with a massive beast purring against his chest, he couldn't imagine his life without her.
He didn't exactly plan for this, but when you're choking from the smoke of burning bridges and life regrets, it's nice to have someone by your side whose life is as charred as yours.~~~

Summary
When a regular human suddenly finds themselves turned into a hyperintelligent superstructure known as an Iterator, He's forced to quickly adapt to a world where Ancients rule instead of humans, and they have their own share of problems different from the ones at home. While the struggles he faces are great, the rewards he gets from succeeding are greater. But just when things are falling into place, it becomes clear that Iterators were never meant to last without their creators. It's a good thing then that this human-turned-Iterator is far from content with following expectations.

Dying to a work-related accident is one thing, but waking up as an "Iterator" inside a massive box is another.
Now I need to somehow adopt and cope with my new existence while preserving what little sanity I have left. At least being a giant super computer gives me all the time and brain power I need to solve all of my problems…somewhat.
Like keeping those damn zealots at arm’s length and figuring out how to get out of his damn box.
First order of business, don't die a second time and to not cause too much psychological damage to myself.

Since the common people have been introduced to The Void, there has been a sharp incline in disappearances. First, they reported every instance of it. Then, it was a regular occurrence to find that one's neighbor has gone, their departure unnoted. Not though ascension; there'd be one thing left behind, their memoire and nothing else, all their worldly possessions graciously donated. They'd find that all their things were still there. No wonder they left through the pool of blackness in their room, being so attached to this carnal plane. How could one want to stay, having been failed by the very gods just beneath?

Summary
Ascension. It was supposed to be the escape from the constant cycles of death and rebirth. They had survived so many downpours of rain, starting with the first one that had washed them away from their family. The trials that they had overcome, the pain, it was supposed to end once they plunged deep into the earth as far as they could go. Reuniting with their family, their kin; was it too high of a hope?
Animalistic desires unravel the ascension process. They had been told this, by a friend (was she a friend? Foreign the concept was to the small and puny mind of a slugcat), but they had ignored the warning and attempted to ascend nonetheless. Perhaps this was what she had meant, when she said the desire to ascend would drive anyone mad.
This is not what they pictured failed ascension to be like. New faces, a new world to explore. Odd it may be, but the slugcat will prevail regardless.
In which Hallownest has an odd face clambering up from the Ancient Basin.

You wouldn’t know that upon first meeting, but it doesn't take a long time spent around one to realize this; they watch, they listen and they follow instructions. One though is bigger, heavier, a bit fatter and a whole lot cleverer than the rest. And Cleverness tends to attract Cleverness, which teaches its cleverness to other clever creatures.
Five Pebbles just didn’t see any of that though.

The city that was changed forever on the morning of January 3rd, 2011, when it was transformed into an alien, post-industrial ecosystem. An ecosystem filled with strange technology, stranger creatures… and sudden deluges of rain that crushed anything unlucky enough to be caught outside.
Missy Biron, ward of the State and former member of the now defunct Brockton Bay Wards program, is one of the Parahumans who stayed behind to support the containment force. Unable to move on, unable to let go of what was taken from her, after a freak accident she finds herself trapped inside the site. With a new guide and a lot of luck, she might just be able to discover just what happened to create the Quarantine Site which ruined her life.

Do keep in mind that I have completed onePressure run, and have only finished the Monk, Artificer, Spearmaster, and Rivulet campaigns in Rain World. It will not be picture perfect.
