Barbossa is just arriving in port and isn't yet available to defend the innkeeper when a man from another ship proves dangerous. She must then rely on herself for defense, but although she does her best, it isn't enough.

It's an ugly, explicit story, but it's one which happened all too often to lone women in the early 18th century, especially in the more lawless port towns. Barbossa's reaction, though, reveals a great deal about his character: about the depth of his emotions, about what he's capable of when he seeks revenge after someone he loves is hurt, and about his ability to be understanding and give comfort.

For N it was just a normal day, waking up, hunting, getting called useless by J, hearing unintelligible whispers, the normal stuff. But why did his teammates look at him with suspicion and what seemed to be, concern? All he did was clear a worker outpost like he was supposed to.
V and J didn’t know what had changed in their (formerly) useless teammate, but whatever it was, it wasn’t natural and they certainly didn’t like it.
None of them knew at the time, but this would mark the beginning of a change for Both Disassemblers and Workers forever.
This story is brought to you by my schizo posting about ideas for a Warframe X Murder Drones fanfic thing (The only things I’ll really be using from Warframe currently are slightly altered versions of the Helminth and Mutalist strains of the infestation.)
This’ll be my first ever fanfic, ever, in anything so bear with me when it comes to my writing (Feedback is greatly encouraged!)

From kubrow puppies to roughhousing tanks to whatever secrets the Lotus has hidden from the Tenno, she's been there, done that, scolded Frost for it. She records events big and small. After all, even the Tenno need to have fun.

Okay so we know Gabe doesn't return to Heaven after the end of Act II but what if after That Scene with the Council, Gabriel begins scouring hell for husks to bring to bring to heaven? What if, under Gabriel's "command," instead of being wholly exclusionary Heaven is opened to all? Opposite end of the same extreme, or whatever?
Might add chapters to this, one or more for each type of Husk there is.
