“For the record, I totally didn’t send this,” Jason declares, resting his fists judgmentally on his hips and wrinkling the bridge of his nose as he takes in the envelope’s exterior details. “I wouldn’t embarrass myself by printing the address for Wayne Manor in Comic Sans. And I definitely wouldn’t use whatever fresh hell that return address is printed in.”
Taking the bagged envelope in hand again, Bruce moves to the Batcomputer and pulls up the folder of fonts on the system. He glances between the envelope and the sample screen for the font he’d already suspected would be a match.
But clocking the font name gives him a great deal of pause. “Jokerman,” he finally declares in a growl through clenched teeth.
Tim, as it turns out, may not be Jack Drake’s son, but Bruce Wayne’s already got kids he picked out personally. That’s okay though, because Tim’s got a plan for how to deal with this revelation—it’s not like he needs acknowledgement from a second father that doesn’t want him, anyway.

Summary
When Jason Todd died, Tim took it upon himself to find a way to save Batman from his dark spiral of violence. Maybe if things had gone differently Tim would have offered himself up to take the Robin mantle and work alongside his hero. Unfortunately, Tim was too busy running his parents' company after the untimely death of his mother. But he knew how to be useful, and other opportunities presented themselves for him to do just that. He felt a little bad about helping to kidnap Damian, but decidedly less bad about helping Steph become a hero. He just hoped that his use wouldn't run out before getting to help his Robin.

He’d been… He’d been returning to the cave after patrol, and had been almost home when something huge had crashed in front of the Batmobile. He’d barely swerved out of the way in time, and then he’d gotten out to investigate it. And then he’d touched whatever it was, and it had lit up in red light, and then… then it was now. Tim's job is to host souls that have been lost before their time but are supposed to come back. When Robin dies at the hands of the Joker, Jason Todd's soul is assigned to Tim.
For someone who puts on tights to fight crime, Jason sure is critical of Tim's life choices. It's a good thing Lost Souls never remember what happened to them while they were dead, or he'd really be in for it once Jason comes back to life!

There was one moment where Tim thought he may have given it away because Mrs. Mac showed up while he was walking her through how to play a video game, and he had to tell her he was practicing to be a Youtuber when he grew up. He thought it was a really clever cover, but Mrs. Mac didn’t know what it meant and just sort of left him to it.

At least, until his parents begin behaving strangely and Tim's investigation finds him at the center of a plot that threatens the entire city. The only way to save Gotham is for Tim to reach Batman, but doing so means losing everything he knows.
