Luigi Mario is a mild-mannered handyman by day - but by night, he dawns a dark mask to become the city’s most infamous phantom thief, Mr L! With help from his small team of friends, he’ll steal from the rich and expose them of their criminal activity. But juggling his personal life and phantom thief life is bound to be tricky, especially when he’s on the run from the entire New Donk bourgeois, his police sergeant brother, and a big nosy tartaruga reporter who is determined to discover Mr. L’s true identity. Will Mr. L save his city from the clutches of manipulation, or will Luigi crack under the pressure of indescribable danger… and blooming romance?

A storm hits the mushroom kingdom heavily and a stork dropped an egg made to be dropped off to the Koopa kingdom, on Luigis damn doorstep. (That stork should be fired btw) so luigi cares for it until the storm passes, then he does research and finds out it's a Koopa egg. -Lil bro is fucked hah- so he tries to sneak into the kingdom and find the parent without giving away his identity. (He fails)
