Summary
What begins as Ori only intending to share a bed roll with Fíli for warmth one night, eventually turns into the acquaintances becoming curious about each other after, then falling in love over the course of the quest despite others wishing they would just leave each other be.
Meanwhile, Thorin is doing his best to be a good example for his eldest sister-son and not act on the urge to let himself be wrapped around one specific Hobbit Omega's fingers. However, he fails spectacularly.
The rest, as some say, is history.

I love this fic. A&O is such a good story exploring many facets of Omegaverse that are easilly missed or dismissed. It's a wonderful story exploring multiple relationships and if you do not understand that (OR UNDERSTAND THE FIRST TAGGED PAIRING MEANS THAT IS THE FOCUS) you do not deserve it.

There was a deep sigh, or rather the sensation of one. It wasn’t really clear where or how it started, but there must have been one for everyone present to understand the reality of something doing the sighing. And when that fourth not-voice spoke, it was entirely directed at the figure dripping blood onto the proverbial (and very literal) carpet.
There is much I wish to discuss with you, my champion.
The figure scowled. Swiping a hand over his face to remove the worst of the blood, he straightened up.
“And I have a fair bit to discuss with you, I’d wager,” Ori spat. “Starting with why you’ve been talking to me for the last five months.”Or: how Aragorn became king, featuring the Valar and countless acts of great stupidity.

Summary
When Thorin's rule as King Under The Mountain comes into question 13 years after Erebor was reclaimed, Fíli alongside Ori step up to assure their restless kinfolk of the future of their reclaimed kingdom by offering to marry and produce the next in line to the Throne Under The Mountain.
While having known each other since they were pebbles, both Fíli and Ori will realize they have a lot to learn if their nascent friendship and arranged marriage have a chance of making it at all.
Can love grow amidst duty and remain, or was their idea all for naught?

Fingers ran through his damp hair and Fili licked his lips when their eyes met. He looked like a debauched prince of his dreams, and Ori was only getting started. He leaned forward and nuzzled the inside of Fili's thigh, earning an impatient whine and tug to his hair. Ori clicked his tongue and dug his teeth into the meat of his leg, tantalizingly close to his dripping cunt. Fili threw his head back and sobbed. "O-Ori please!"
"Good boy." Ori purred and he blonde shuddered and keened so Ori made note to praise him again. He buried his nose into blonde curls and became acquainted with Fili's throbbing dick. Ori moaned as he pressed kisses along the length before ducking lower to lap up Fili's saccharine arousal.
