“I’m not sure I can trust you,” said Ultra Magnus, relishing the way Optimus’s faceplate flushed with humiliation. “You’ll have a guard for those two weeks, and you will stay here, in Fortress Maximus, to ensure you don’t try anything creative.” He stepped closer, hating the way Optimus held his ground. “By the way, Optimus—you will succeed in charming Megatron. He was entirely correct when he said the Decepticons have the Allspark. This treaty must succeed.” He leaned forward. “Or I will know exactly at whose stabilizers the blame lies.”
Optimus finds himself betrothed to Megatron, and Megatron a surprisingly courteous suitor. But the Decepticons are afraid of something, a looming threat on the edge of known space...
...and Decepticon machinations may be the least of Optimus's worries.

Takes place Before Megatron over throws Megazarak in the lull between the Decepticons getting thrown off Cybertron and the war restarting.
Also Sentinel Prime also got demoted in this AU. He is very much not a fan of construction work.

Megatron froze as he felt Optimus’s servo inside his chassis tug at the energon line and a fresh gush of the fuel escaped him as it tore further. Their optics met and held. Megatron’s had widened in shock for a moment before narrowing again in calculation. Optimus’s optics were round in shock and fear as his life was held in Megatron’s servo just as the other’s was held in his.
“Well,” Megatron’s voice was rougher than normal as this tableau continued, “we seem to be at an impasse, Autobot.”

Summary
All cybertronians have ingrained in their very sparks an absolute repulsion towards hurting sparklings and a base need to protect and care for them. This is standard to most species, though cybertronians seem to feel it more than others; a command rather than a request. This is perhaps nature’s way of ensuring that the few sparklings that come into the world remain safe and cared for. It is logical. However, no one expected sparkling protocols to take over when cybertronians first came in contact with humans. Perhaps humans and cybertronians are more closely related than first thought.

Summary
Project Regen has been in effect for vorns. Sentinel, who once was Prime, is now a young secretary just trying to make his way in a world that is much too big for him sometimes. To his dismay he is now considered a cute little bot that would be the perfect cojunx. Bulkhead is one such mech hoping to win his affections. Will he be successful? Will anyone be able to convince Lugnut they are worthy of his precious little baby? Who knows! Not even me at this point so this will be fun.
You may want to read at least the first chapter of Baby Woes by Quiet_Shadow to understand the universe, but I would strongly recommend reading all of their Project Regen Files it's pretty great. This is my first story, so constructive criticism is welcome. I do work full time so I'll update when I can, but it may be inconsistent. Let me know what you think!
