Cloud Strife has spent his teenagehood believing himself to be a beta. Growing up in backwater Nibelheim, he doesn’t know much about biology, or whatever. So when he presents as an omega and goes into heat for the first time at the age of nineteen, his instincts kinda take over. Even if he is on a recon mission outside of Junon. Even if he is the only omega in sight. With the exception of Genesis.
Genesis Rhapsodos has spent his teenagehood and young adult life disliking the fact that he is an omega. In every way that he can, he squashes down his instincts and does what he must to be taken seriously. That all changes when he ends up imprinting on his mate’s best friend and comes to the realization that maybe his omega instincts aren’t so bad. That maybe sometimes they can even be beautiful.
Or, the one where mated omega Genesis imprints on omega Cloud and takes care of him through his first heat, much to his mates' fond surprise. Eventual ASGZC.

Summary
Cloud Strife had always hated high school. As one of the few omega's in Nibelheim, he had often been bullied and teased about how no one would want a weak omega like him until he eventually left for Midgar and found his true pack, who were actually ecstatic to meet him and therefore proving his former bullies all wrong.
Because of the bullying, he was less than inclined to attending the reunion held in Nibelheim, especially with his pack sent on a mission without him, but since he didn't have any excuses he could use, even with his job as a Turk, he was forced to go. Thankfully, he still didn't go alone as his friend Cissnei accompanied him as a favour for Zack.
However, even without his pack being with him, it would turn out to be a night full of surprises

When Sephiroth messes with the flow of time, and Mercenary Cloud Strife and Avalanche decided to challenge him by going through the portal, the decision erased the entire future of Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus. A whole world erased. All except Cloud Strife.
He can't be absorbed into the Lifestream. Aerith has a solution. Send him into another universe where he didn't exist. Cloud goes along with it because, why not? No one told him he would land in the last place he would have ever wanted.

The “Oni no Kin,” “Midgar Buster,” “Red Mage” and “Hound of Midgar” have ravaged the city for years. Slaughtering hundreds and leaving no survivors or witnesses.
It all starts with “Death's” disappearance. A killer with clean methods: a single shot to the middle of the forehead. Death’s been around for decades, killing often. Once a month at least, with the record high being 20 corpses found in one day.
After 36 months of “Death's” absence, he reappears, bringing someone with him.
The Siren.
Just as elusive and just as deadly as Death himself.
Siren’s corpses are often found naked or at the sight of past attempted or carried out sexual assaults. The victims of said attempts are solid in their statements; they didn’t see anyone or anything.
In the coming months however, the Hound of Midgar seems to fall under the Siren's song, followed closely by his companions. A strange ritual begins, using corpses to communicate and conspire. It keeps the Midgar PD on their toes, to say the least.
Thisnis the Siren's story, from learning Death's song, to falling in love with four of the most ruthless men on Gaia.
