Summary
The orphanage— the only place Tommy and Tubbo had— was burnt to crisp. The only place they could even slightly call home, even if it didn’t quite fit the word.
It’s not like the wretched place was good by any means, of course not. But seeing as they were there for a reason, they didn’t and still don’t have any place to go if not there.
Even if the steady rise of the vampire population was getting a bit scary, they’d never encounter one themselves, right?
Tommy and Tubbo would get through this together, like they always had. Even if the cost was their lives.

He smiled, a glint of his golden teeth showing as Quackity hesitantly entered the castle doors. And he then followed behind Quackity like a second shadow, the dark robes he was wearing aiding in that comparison.
Quackity really hoped he made the right decision in doing this… He really hoped so…
OR: Quackity knew that Schlatt was dangerous and powerful when he decided to seek him out for help in mastering the arcane. He was not, however, expecting this.

Tommy wouldn’t admit the thought was kinda alluring after the fuckfest the past few days had been.
“Honestly, I thought you were smarter than that little lamb. What do I want from you? I want you to make a decision. Die here on your throne of the dead you could have prevented, or join me. Be turned. Live your life free from the restraints of being mortal,” A sick grin painted Crow’s face. A smile that chilled Tommy down to the bone and made him feel like there was never really an option that came with his ultimatum. It was rigged from the start.
