Summary
He cries out, it's a small noise that escapes his mouth, his snout. It's small and pathetic but it feels like it echoes.
And it's not moments later, does something answer.
A cry, a louder one. Bellows from within the forest not so far, making him jump.
Tommy looks up, eyes scanning the place but he can't see anything beyond white snow and tall trees.
Curiously, he calls again.
He gets a response. It sounds closer. The world shakes as it calls to him but deep within he feels more relief than fear.
He cries again, close to standing up to look around but there is no need. Whatever is answering calls again and it's so close.
Close enough, Tommy watches something break from the trees. And so, standing tall among the foliage and white snow, is another dragon.
This one is massive though, towering over the oak trees around them.
Tommy freezes as it's icy blue eyes meet him.
Or
Tommy finds shiny gem and doesn't know it's a magic gem.

After the most disastrous first contact in remembered history, the galaxy where Earth was situated had been cordoned off with a highly secure perimeter only scientists, diplomats, and the occasional political party were allowed to pass. For all intents and purposes, there should never be a human outside of that border.

He's an alien, sent to study Earth. It's not easy, keeping that secret when he's living with three humans, but he can do it, he's sure.
Wilbur has a secret. He's not told a soul and never intends to . He's an alien, sent to study humans on Earth, so that his people can make first official contact. It's not easy hiding what he truly is, especially when it comes to his three human housemates.
Technoblade has a secret. He's very good at keeping it, but sometimes it's... difficult, around his three human housemates. Loathe as he is to admit it, Technoblade cares about them, and perhaps even feels guilt over his lies. His race wants him to determine whether or not Earth is an ally or an invasion site. But, for the sake of his people and new friends, he will keep his secret.
Phil does not have a secret. He has never, once in his life, kept his mouth shut, even when Puffy tells him to. It's not his fault no one else believes aliens exist. At least his new housemates, normal as they are, seem to tolerate it better than the last guys.

In which Mumbo crosses several towns, learns some creative methods of self-defense, fights some monsters, sees things no human is meant to have seen, befriends a stranger, steals multiple cars, has inconvenient moral scruples, grows increasingly terrified of his own culpability in the apocalypse, grows a spine, blows up at least one building, accidentally prevents a murder, and attempts to find his best friend in the futile but ever-burning hope the man’s still alive.
He has to say, he’s so exhausted and terrified that he thinks he might just be mad?
(OR: the one where, after most of humanity turns into a series of terrifying monsters, Mumbo decides he’s going to risk his life on an apocalypse road trip to try to find out if Grian is alive. Things, as you might imagine, devolve from there.)

Before Danny’s eyes was a cat, her gray fur flecked with twinkling stars, her blank blue eyes glittered at him with warmth.
“Save them.” She said, her voice rigging out like thousands of voices.

Danny goes a bit too far to the left into the zone and ends up as a cat in the warrior cats universe, where he joins ThunderClan and learns of their culture, makes friends and pisses off quite a few StarClan cats. Little does he know, a prophesy lies in the pawsteps of his newfound friends and it’s his role to help them along the path.
