Summary
There were too many sensations screaming at him. All at once they demanded his attention, scratching at his face and ripping his skin off. They all begged him to pay attention to what they were giving him, dragging their poison-dipped nails into his heart and tearing.
There was nothing he could do at that moment but feel the bile rose in his throat and spilled from his lips. It splattered onto the concrete without any qualms.
Hobie just sat there, stuck at the scene. He continued to heave and heave. Dried puke stuck to his clothes and the sides of his mouth. He was unable to let anything else out, plain old air dripping from the depths of his painfully empty stomach.

This fic was absolutely heart shattered. Earth breaking. I think i stopped breathing a couple of times. The plot is sooo well paced i think id kiss the author on the lips if i ever saw them in real life. The pain in the beginning?? The way things like the breathing method that uncle ben taught him stayed so very consistent through the entire thing? This was glorious. The way the recovery was nonlinear? Perfect. It feels so real like it happened to a real person and this was their biography. My heart has never ached so hard and then healed so beautifully. The way he’s so confused with his emotions and he wants to die so bad, but he knows he cant. And the way he finds comfort in tony. The way tony knows that peter feels comfortable with him watching him when steves around and hes neevous. The moment that flash realized why peter had punched him. The way nat knew somehow and the therapist told peter straight up that in order to help he needed to talk. The sewer. The collapse of the sewer. The way his wounds were so dehabilitating that he was hallucinating mr armadillo. I LOVE THIS FANFIC. I CRIED SO HARD. PLEASE NEVER STOP WRITING.
