Tommy sat still. He reached into his jacket pocket, his hand finding only a plastic pen. Could he stab this man with a plastic pen?
Tommy pulled said piece of plastic out, visibly holding it up. “I have a pen.” Something about the bemused look on the man's face made Tommy click it, and again, repeatedly.

“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Less than a Galactic Year after Tommy escapes from his poachers, he goes to travel back to Earth. He takes a detour on the way and somehow ends up on the SBI, a ship filled with two other alien kids, a ‘body guard’ Piglin, a medic Phantom, and a considerably old Elytrian for a captain. Somehow he gets adopted.
(It’s fine, humans pack-bond with anything. Even the weirdest, possibly criminal, possibly innocent, aliens.)
This is how Tommy acclimates his alien friends to the impossibility that is humans.

In the long list of rules that Dream gave him, there were four that stuck out as the most important. Four rules that he could never break.
Stick close to the island when swimming. Always be back before seven. Never complain or hesitate to give Dream his pelt. And never, ever interact with humans.
Tommy didn’t break any of those rules often, and if he did it was a one time thing, a mistake. But this wasn’t a mistake. This was a very deliberate, very stupid move on his part and Dream would kill him if he knew what Tommy was doing. Fifteen years Tommy had lived here, and never once had he intentionally broken one of Dream’s rules. Until now.
He swims closer to the three humans.

Tommy's a selkie living isolated on an island with Dream as his caretaker. Wilbur, Techno, and Phil are the new lighthouse keepers next door. Surely there's no way for this to go wrong. -

Tommy dug out his phone to show Ranboo and Tubbo some blurry pictures taken in the dark of what looked like classic zombies.
“Tommy, that's just from a movie,” Tubbo said.
He flipped to a picture of a skeleton.
Tubbo raised an eyebrow. “Tommy, have you ever been to science class? Those things exist within the school building.”
Tommy insisted, shaking his head, “No, no the post said the skeletons moved. And look—“
He flipped to a picture of a tall black figure with purple eyes.
“Tommy, none of these are real,” Ranboo exclaimed, forcing Tommy’s phone on the table, “okay?”
