The Archives is a place of work. A place of efficiency. Everyone has a role to play, and everyone fills that role because it’s all they know how to do. But let’s look at it from a different perspective. From the perspective of an ordinary worker. A Drone. A Drone that sometimes wonders if there’s more to its existence than work. A Drone that sometimes, wants to be free.
In all honesty, I wanted to write something on Ao3 and The Archives were quite inspiring to me, so I suppose this fic is the result of that.

Alastor gave a slight giggle in response, seemingly amused by the bizarre greeting. Vincent still wasn’t sure if he was laughing at him or if he just laughed at everything. He found he didn’t care that much either way, now that his initial anger had passed. Alastor had a nice laugh.
