Summary
In the days following the bombastic reveal of the village vampires, Dr. Legs does his best to take care of the people he cares for, keep everyone in one piece, prepare for war, work on a cure, keep up his lie and at least try not to fly apart at the seams where anyone can see him. He succeeds at some of these things and fails, rather spectacularly, at others.

Summary
Shelby doesn’t realize her roommate Scott is a vampire. Owen cannot stand the fact that a happy village has been built over the ruins he left behind. Scott intends to protect what belongs to him.
This AU is set in roughly the 1930s. Oakhurst is an actual village where people live. There are no beacons, and some humans are just born with mystical powers (no holy texts). Aside from that, plot will be similar but different from the actual SMP events, to keep things interesting.
My main motivation is domestic fluff between V.Scott and Shelby, but my co-writer has convinced me to beef up the intrigue aspects.

Summary
There were rumors, quickly squashed by the island kingdom, that the Prince of Ithaca had grown wings on his feet when he was a boy. There were rumors that he had wings elsewhere too; on his back and behind his ears. They were squashed even quicker. Anyone who could get a look at the prince could see that his body was not adorned in feathers of any kind.
None of them knew, and Ithaca’s royal family planned to keep it that way. Fearing that this problem of unknown origin (curse or yet another divine being’s fling with a mortal) would be seen as an insult to the gods and bring down their wrath. Odysseus has grown used to having to cut down or hide the extra appendages, but the struggle only grew when he was forced into the Trojan War.
Now, with the war at its end and his fleet ready to return home, he only has one thing on his mind; getting home to his wife and son.
OR
An alternate universe where Hermes's relation to one particular Greek hero becomes a bit more prominent, and he suddenly has a much better reason to help Odysseus on his journey home.
