Jason whirls on his heel to face a very startled and baffled-looking Timothy Drake, who is sat at his kitchen table, laptop open, papers strewn about, and currently staring at the man who has just appeared out of thin air in the middle of Bruce’s kitchen, looking an awful lot like Bruce’s dead son.
“What the F*** do you think you’re doing? GO to f***ing BED!”
OR
After Jason died, he became a disciple of Hypnos, and it is his job to make sure his charges get enough sleep. One of those charges just so happens to be Timothy Drake

Summary
A young and inexperienced Tim Drake Robin is taken away by the Joker, who has intentions of weaponising him against Batman. He is rescued by a masked man and soon finds himself learning he and this masked stranger with guns might have more in common than he could ever have guessed.
This fic explores an AU where Jason rescues a 14 year old Tim from the Joker, exploring the beginnings of a friendship between the two Robins and Bruce's relationship to Jason following the events of Under the Red Hood.
No romance, no batcest, some light angst but always with a hopeful tone at the end, and absolutely no AI.

Tim puzzles away at the mystery when his fragmented mind can do anything at all, but he never expects to actually solve it before he’s killed or rescued. It’s just something to pass the time and calm his mind, something that makes him feel like he’s still himself, Tim Drake, Robin, not just a punching bag made of torn flesh and burning nerve endings.
When the mystery is suddenly solved — when he hears that familiar modulated voice above him and sees a flash of gleaming red before the light blinds him and forces him to squeeze his stinging eyes shut — he almost can’t believe how simple the solution is. Who wants Tim to suffer, just for the sake of Tim’s suffering? After Titans Tower, there’s only one likely answer. The only reason he hadn’t thought of it before is that the Red Hood is also Jason Todd and Tim is still a moron when it comes to Jason Todd.

"I have to ask," Jason said, almost conversationally as he slammed the butt of a pistol into a League assassin's jaw. The man hit the ground with a satisfying thud. "What exactly did you do to piss off that bastard, Ra's?"
Tim ducked beneath a sword, caught the assassin's wrist, and threw all of his weight behind the counter. There was a sharp snap and the body crumbled.
"Oh," Tim said, already moving toward the next one. "It's nothing."
Which—okay. Maybe not nothing if you counted blowing up every League base he could globally.
Jason snorted.
"That's a lie and you damn well know it."
Another assassin rushed him.
Jason shot him in the knee without even looking.
"So," he continued. "Try again. What. Did. You. Do."
Tim sighed.
Honestly, people always made this into a bigger deal than it needed to be.
"So, I maybe destroyed a couple of his bases."
Jason stared.
"…Globally. And now he wants me to sire his children so he can have a new heir."
And there was silence.

Summary
It takes Tim three weeks to realize that he’s been exposed to something. His reactions have been off since that night at the harbour when Dick almost got thrown in the river and Bruce shoved Tim to one side to get to Dick and Tim fell face forward into a weird pile of grey dust and choked on it. The dust didn’t have any immediate effects, nothing obvious. It just made him gasp and cough and made his eyes burn under the cowl for a few seconds. Then he needed to check on Dick and then they got back to the Cave and he checked on Dick again and then Dick was saying something about a movie night and Tim found himself smiling and then he stayed over for dinner and the movie and thought nothing of it. It’s only now, three weeks later, that he wakes up in his room in the Manor and thinks wait, what? It’s only now, now that he’s flooded with sudden panic, that he realizes that he hasn’t felt anything resembling panic for three full weeks.

The thing is, Tim wasn’t himself when he was looking for Bruce. In his grief, Tim was Red Robin, and Red Robin was built for solitude. Red Robin crossed lines that Tim Drake wouldn’t even tiptoe on. He was detached and gray and everything Tim had tried not to be as Robin. But now that Bruce is back, and Damian is Robin, and nobody really knows what he’s done- Red Robin is all he has left. And Red Robin was built for solitude.
There’s something wrong with Tim. The Tim Jason knew was poised, snarky, arrogant. A stubborn-as-shit asshole. And, of course, so loyal and committed to the Bat-legacy that Jason wasn’t really sure if the kid had any hobbies outside the suit. This new Tim, this Red Robin, is someone else entirely. Someone who’s one reckless crusade away from getting himself killed.
And Jason has a few things to say about dead Robins, Red or not.
Or: After Bruce returns from the time stream, Tim Drake keeps the mantle of Red Robin and throws himself into international cases to avoid going home. Jason runs into him, gets a bad feeling, and follows him to the ends of the earth (literally).

The kid was holding up a stuffy. It was a teddy bear, brown fur and orange ears and paws. One of its arms was half ripped off, white stuffing spilling out.
“What makes you think I can fix that?” Jason asked, more baffled than anything else.
The kid was what? Seven? Eight? Didn’t children usually ask their teachers for things like this and not random older students?
“Because you’re Robin,” the kid said matter-of-factly. “You can fix anything.”
