“Uh— Phil?” The man calls over his shoulder, golden eyes never leaving Tommy’s face, “I need your help over here.”
Tommy bares his teeth, wings fluttering threateningly. He doesn’t want the man to get help, he wants him to go away.
Another man steps into view. This one is short and blonde, with wings a hundred times bigger than Tommy’s, and he’s dressed just as nice as the first man. He hasn’t seen Tommy yet; he’s looking at the big pink one. Mouth open like he’s going to speak.
Tommy hisses again, louder this time. And the man's head snaps towards him— which doesn’t scare Tommy. He doesn’t shrink back, doesn’t try to tuck away his wings with a whine. Because he’s big. He’s big and scary; nothing is scarier than him and he knows it, because he says it.
“Oh,” The man says softly, expression falling at his eyes dart across Tommy’s face. “Oh, mate.”

What Tommy doesn't know, is that his brother is part of a crime group and does not need someone else to care for. But of course Techno will take in his brother. He made the mistake of leaving him behind once, he won't make that mistake again.

Have you ever heard of the saying Stranger Danger? Because Tommy certainly has, however he would argue that rule doesnt apply to him. He’s lived on the internet for all his life. Hell, the internet raised him!
Tommy's a simple fella, he fanboys over things any normal 17-year-old would. Dogs, video games, minecraft, minecraft youtubers.. and more specifically, a well-known Technoblade. A well-known creator for his outstanding skills in PvP and also no-nonsense humor, garnering a large fanbase over the years he's done this. Therefore inspiring others to follow his same path, one of them being a certain Tommyinnit.
Now. When Tommy did get a chance to interact with his favorite creator, he really.. really tried not to be overbearing. He did! But when you spend so long idolizing someone, you never expect them to reach down and notice you.
Yet now, theres no logging off. And he wished he had heeded the warnings.

The faint gleam of moonlight caught on his thick white fur, giving him an almost spectral appearance.
Tommy stumbled back a step, his ears flicking nervously, but he quickly recovered. “Didn’t see you there, old man,” he shot back, a teasing edge in his voice.
His tail wagged cautiously as he took a half-step forward, his posture daring but not quite aggressive. The spark in his blue eyes betrayed his delight at finding something—or someone—to focus on.

“Isn’t it?” Tommy asks, finally rolling his head to face Technoblade. He’s looking at Tommy with that same weird expression he’s had this entire time. He’s got a deathgrip on the edge of the mattress, too, claws digging into the fabric cover. He’s gonna rip it if he’s not careful. “I mean– you kinda told me to, ‘Blade. No– no uncertain terms ‘n all that shit. I mean I know it wasn’t exactly a hero's death, but…” Tommys gaze drops to the mattress. “‘S probably too late for that, isn’t it? Never really been hero material. Just–” he slowly flexes his hand, the muscles wrestling pathetically against the movement– “this.” He looks back up, meeting Technoblade’s eyes again. “I kinda thought it’d be better for everyone in the end, y’know? Quieter.”
Tommy doesn’t know what to expect Technoblade to do when he says that. Leave, maybe. Or make him leave. Or maybe agree and just, finish the job. Make it easier on everyone else.
He doesn’t expect him to stare at Tommy like he’d just shot his fuckin’ dog.

Tommy makes a choice, changes his mind, and everything progresses from there.

There’s something wrong about Philza Craft.
He’s Tommy’s homeroom teacher, has been for over three months now, and Tommy can not for the life of him shake off the terrible feeling of wrongness when he sees him.
He’s a good guy, great guy even. He’s strong and smart and kind and actually helps when someone asks him to, but there’s also something horribly off about him. Tommy sees it in the way his teeth look slightly too sharp sometimes, or how his eyes seem to glow a bit too bright, the pupil distorting to an inhuman shape. Tommy can even swear he’s found feathers way too large for a regular bird around the areas the man has been.
No one else seems to notice, though. So Tommy doesn’t say anything. He’s very skilled at minding his own business now, he’s learned to.

Summary
Despite his youth and deafness, Tommy is forced into a hunt for riches within the dangerous forest that surrounds his village, rumored to be filled with horrendous creatures.
Unfortunately for him, Tommy's paranoia around the forest is proven right when a horrific series of events is set off after he discovers a hidden lake in the middle of the woods.

He jumps into the burning orange liquid that is called lava. He had been there before, in exile, but in that time there was someone to stop him, now he's sure no one would care if he did it now.
It feels amazing, even if his skin burns and his body screams, his mind is at peace, a small smile on his face.
He did it, he really jumped.
And now he is finally free. Free from those empty glares from Tubbo. Free from the rough hands of Wilbur.
And mostly of all, he's free from the hatred of everyone, he could finally see MD, hear his laugh, damn, he's even happy he's going to see that alcoholic bastard.
But, it seems things never go his way, do they?.

Technoblade slowly dragged his fingers along the spines of his books, carefully reading each title.
The Art Of War!
Technoblade snorted softly. He'd read Sun Tzu's The Art of War front to back so many times he has the entire thing memorized
"I suppose I could read it again," Technoblade mused, hand drifting towards where he knows the novel was located.
YES!
Technoblade's lips twitched into a small small at the voices happy cheer. His fingers were moments away from closing around the well loved book when he stilled, ears flicking to attention. His entire body tensed as he suddenly became hyper aware of every sound in his house.
The fireplace crackled gently, the wind gently sung outside, his heart pounded in his ears, and- there.
A muffled cry of distress.
Techno finds Tommy curled up below his basement, starving and covered in injuries and flinching at the smallest of movements, and he is furious. As Technoblade tries his hardest to help Tommy heal, Phil finds himself struggling to cope with his failures as a father, and the rest of the SMP is forced to confront the consequences of their actions. At least Ghostbur has plenty of blue to go around?

The Piglin initially put his ears back, but after recognizing Tommy they went up again, and soon he began wagging his tail.
"Strangers." He stated, wrinkling his snout. Tommy rolled his eyes.
"It's Wilbur and Sally."
"Which one is Wilbur?"
Tommy leaned over the rocks and waved to the couple. Sally waved back, but Wilbur was too busy looking around unfamiliar territory and being nervous.
"In the yellow sweater." The boy said, bringing his hand to his head and twirling his wrist - a sign for fluffy or curly hair.
Technoblade narrowed his eyes and stared at him the way a teacher stares at a student who once again failed their exam - judgemental and without any mercy or pity.
"I could break him in half. He looks like a small, thin twig. Twigbur." He purred with satisfaction. "Like a pencil."
Or; A six year old Tommy befriended a Piglin. They became brothers.
Or; A world where hybrids gain traits of those they trust the most. Technoblade is a Piglin. Tommy’s a kid lost in the Nether. Basically the DSMP but Techno's a literal Piglin and only Tommy can understand him.
