He hasn’t started any games with them; he’s not offering instruction. He simply must have the youth in his sights at all times or else he will go into cardiac arrest.

Keelah, she’s been hungover before, but never like this.
Tali’s head throbs. Her eyelids are heavy. Her tongue sticks to the roof of her mouth. When she stirs, her faceplate’s HUD automatically flashes on, and the soft light is so blindingly bright that she can see it even when she shuts her eyes as tight as she can. She closes it with a practiced flick of her omni-tool and relaxes into the near perfect darkness.
“I’m going to die,” she announces to the room.
There’s a quiet chuckle next to her. “You’ll be fine. There are painkillers on the nightstand, when you’re ready.”

Summary
Shepard runs Spectre, a tattoo studio on the Normandy Shopping Street, where the other stores are owned by and employing friends that he has come to consider his family. It's a good life in this community he's found and he has no complaints, especially not after the life he's had growing up.
But when a flower shop opens in the unit across the street, his life is disrupted in the best way possible when he meets the owner, the good natured and handsome Kaidan, whose presence is unexpected but welcome. Shepard's never been this drawn towards anyone, both fascinated and scared by the intensity of the attraction he feels.
If only his friends can stop being so involved in his love life, then maybe he'll be able to figure out his feelings for Kaidan.

Summary
Commander Cody Shepherd was born on earth, his parent's death in the first contact war left him an orphan. Surviving a desperate childhood of petty crime, Cody joined the Alliance at the age of 18, where he met the love of his life. Losing his husband in the Blitz and emerging a war hero, Cody went on to become commander and XO of the SSV Normandy.
Updates will in theory occur every week or two, but timing may vary. The Main pairing of the series is MSHENKO, but i plan to give some attention to several other pairings.
At first I will be writing through the game series, but I will return at some point to release Shepherd's backstory, and I plan to continue writing the story well past the end of the reaper war.
