Summary
"Then Haleth held the people together, though they were without hope; and some cast themselves in the rivers and were drowned. But seven days later, as the Orcs made their last assault and had already broken through the stockade, there came suddenly a music of trumpets, and Caranthir with his host came down from the north and drove the Orcs into the rivers."
But what happened next?
--------
Yes, it's a Halenthir fic. Beginning at the beginning, and tracing out what I imagine the course of their relationship to be, exploring the motivations and emotions of both parties. Despite the ship itself being only "canon if you squint," don't expect non-canon happy endings here. Two strong, proud people who love each other are caught between the competing needs of their respective peoples and by their own pride and beliefs and needs. Also, at some point there will be sexy wrestling. So there's that to look forward to.
(Currently rated as Mature due to some battle scenes and the likelihood of sexytimes later on; I will update the rating if it ends up requiring Explicit later on.)

Summary
My gaze falls on his intricate elk brooch and the shimmery blue-gray fabric of his robes. The shade is not the same as mine as I first believed, but richer, more mysterious—like its wearer. I have a strange desire to reach out and touch it. “Is that why you followed me? Curiosity?”
“No.” His mouth quirks.
“Did my father ask you to come? He worries far too--”
“I came to ask you to dance with me. But if you prefer to stand here and watch the trees for the remainder of the night, I shall not try to convince you otherwise.”
She's been King Thranduil's close friend for a long time. But when a shocking rumor about his past comes to light, it shakes her entire world. A story about second chances with eventual romance. Slow burn. Set during the Lord of the Rings. Inspired by Jane Austen's Emma.

Summary
In the Third Age, Finrod is sent to Middle-earth to convince Maglor to return to Valinor. While there, he and Aegnor find two humans that look remarkably like Barahir and Andreth, the two humans the brothers fell in love with in the First Age. But surely that's impossible. Humans cannot be reborn like elves. Right?

Summary
The tie was being removed from his hair. He involuntarily stiffened, closing his eyes as Vilkas pulled off his own tunic, moving in front of him.
He needed to be honest with himself, it wasn't that he didn't find Vilkas attractive, he did. That was the problem. The twins shared the same physical beauty, with slight differences of course.
It was what he had, that his brother didn't. It was his dominance, his need to be in control. That coupled with his beauty, he would get lost in this man... the way he had gotten lost in someone else. The thought of this man having control of him, his heart... his body.
It terrified him.

Summary
Blood, dirt, and the remnants of his climax, ran down his body. Laying down in the stream, letting the cold water run over him, knowing he was making a show of it. He would've never done any of this in front of a regular female.
But there was nothing regular about her.
He finally felt like he'd met the one that he could be his true self with. The mate he could be one with, no matter what form he chose to be in. She would understand him and accept him either way.
There was a reason he'd found out about this, found out about her... met her.

"My debt to you is paid, Ulfric. I owe you nothing more."
Ulfric looked into the back of the cart, the furs wrapped around the body were stained dark red from the blood that had seeped through them.
"What is this, that it would settle your debt!" His large, calloused hand motioning toward the bundle. "What is this to me, Agnin, but another waste of my time!"Looking at the Jarl from under his hood, he chuckled. "It is the final pawn in the game." Walking over to the body, he lifted the fur, just enough to give Ulfric a good look. "It is the leverage you need to win this bloody war!"

Summary
“Bolg is my son.” He prodded again, even though the scales of dwarven armour were rather unforgiving against bare hobbit fingers. “He has been my son nearly all his life, as good as born to me. You dwarves respect adoptions as good as blood kin, and you will respect my family in my home, just the same. Or you'll leave, now, through the door you came in.”
On one fated night, Bilbo Baggins finds a pitiful little creature huddled in his garden, bleeding and broken. Adopted!Bolg AU, written for a kink meme prompt.

Summary
Since being appointed the new Guardian, Khadgar has developed a habit of overworking himself to the point of exhaustion. So exhausted, in fact, that he's been caught literally asleep on his work. Or a table, or a bale of hay, or Lothar's rather annoyed gryphon. It's ridiculous, really. (And no, Lothar totally does not fuss over said sleepy mage, nope.)
Aka: the three times Khadgar falls asleep in random places, and the one time he doesn't.(Re-uploaded cuz the author is silly and accidentally backpublished.)

Summary
Khadgar knew that he would be willing to give his life to save another's. However, he never thought that when he saved the life of someone he knew for all of a few days at the cost of his own, that it would set him on a path that no mage, or anyone else for that matter, has ever walked before.
