Summary
A comic adaptation of the Hobbit.
Bilbo has always struggled to tell the "true" story of what happened on his journey to the Lonely Mountain. Now, he's trying to retell his adventures as a bright happy children's book for his young nephew Frodo.
But is he telling the full truth? And are there things that he's leaving out?
(I'm taking the interpretation that Tolkien's 'translation; of the Red Book of Westmarch was only a translation of one of various copies made of the book throughout the centuries, and that I am 'translating' a different version of the text with the help of different primary sources! Which is why our descriptions of the events may differ.)

(Based on a reddit writing prompt, so the idea of a bar called "The Alibi" is not mine, but the rest of this is)
The world had no space for a quirkless child. Izuku had no purpose other than to be a voiceless test dummy for the other children, an object of scorn for the adults, and an unending source of guilt for his mother. When Inko Midorya died, no one came for him. He sat in the ruins of his home, the only refuge he had from the cruelty around him now reduced to rubble, dust, and a growing pool of blood.
The world had no space for a quirkless child, too useless to be a hero, too weak to be a villain, too young to be felt on his own, too tired to cry.
In the wreckage of his life, Izuku lost one dream and found another. Slowly, he built himself a space, a neutral zone that gave safety to anyone who crossed its threshold regardless of history or quirk. Slowly, Izuku became strong enough to protect it.

Summary
“What the fuck was that!?” Jason exclaimed, shock briefly making him forget the fear bleeding into him from the Pit. Phantom turned to him, mouth opening to respond, only to freeze and go wide eyed as he fully looked at Jason for the first time.
“What the fuck are you?” he gasped. Jason stiffened and backed up warily. The rest of his family tensed and took a protective step forward. “No,” Phantom continued, eyes squinting in inspection, “a more accurate question would be what the fuck was done to you.”
“Why? Do I bother you?” Jason snarled. The Pit was writhing in his chest, as though trying to flee.
“Oh it definitely bothers me. Hmm… yeah, no I can’t let that go.”
Failing to stop the summoning of the King of the Ghosts, the Batfam find themselves in a strange scenario when the summoned King refuses to take over the world and instead becomes incredibly interested in one of their own: Jason Todd.

“Dad, please,” Jason begged desperately, for once mentally pleading for the Pit to come back so he could free himself. The Pit remained subdued, cowering in the presence of what it considered superior. His brothers continued to try and get closer, yelling his name and grappling at his free arm, trying to get a hold of their brother.
They couldn’t do it.
If his dad had said anything, it was much too late. The creature turned and opened a swirling green portal, dragging the former crime lord inside. The portal disappeared immediately behind them.

He wants nothing less than to be involved in the story and the characters within it, even as he awakens magic he should not have and catches the attention of those he would rather not.
The game only begins when he catches the attention of the one he wanted to avoid most and the world will certainly suffer for it.

Summary
After defeating the Beast and falling into the river, Wirt and Greg wash up on the shore of an unknown place. Soaked and cold they decide to wander in hopes of finding help, maybe even a landline or phone to call someone. Except when they finally actually got a good look at whatever place they fell into, did everything start to feel even more alien. The sky was full of a thick, brown smog. Screeches and screams bounced of the building and echoed throughout the streets. Roads were filled with even more cars, bigger and faster than any Wirt has ever seen. Somehow the sidewalks were even more crowded. Wirt held onto Greg for deer life, knowing how prone he was to running off for any shiny thing he sees. Unable to move with out bumping into someone, Wirt rushes towards gap in the walls hoping to catch a break. Sliding down the greasy, jagged wall, Wirt works on not passing out from hyperventilating while Greg pokes around the rest of the alley. Picking up a stack of paper, Greg shouts "What are penguins doing out in streets like these?!"
"What?" Wirt responds.
"Look!" Greg exclaims, happily shoving the papers into his face.

The first thing Viktor realized upon awakening was that his body was no longer his. The open, bleeding void that filled his marrow and pressed against it's walls, threatening to burst free at any moment- well, it was a far cry from his chronic pain, at least.
But being held brings Viktor nothing, and, distantly, he recognizes this as a devastating realization that he does not want Jayce to have. So he leaves, following the beckoning hatred and fear and desperation of the very ground beneath his feet, and behind him he hears the persistent footsteps of the man he used to love.
"I just got you back, Viktor." The man says, voice tight and oh so familiar. It gives Viktor a buffer against the overwhelming call, and so he pauses midstep. "I won't leave you again, not after- not like this. So-... so I'm coming with you, whether you like it or not."
