Kaz was on the ground in a blink, vision tunneling as his non-metallic shoulder let out a recognizable pop as it was twisted out of his socket and yanked into a held place above his head, Miséricorde clattering to the ground. His flask laid impaled beside him, Crimson Tears leaking onto the ground in a sure reminder of what was to become of him soon, each ragged breath more difficult than the last. Messmer's knee only pressed harder against his back, and the only signs of him leaning closer came with the clinks of his armor, and the cascade of red hair falling in closely-resembled curtain around him.
“Vile tarnished,” Messmer uttered, and, unbelievably, all Kaz could think of through the pain was how warm Messmer's hand was gripping his, how it radiated from atop him, seeming to envelope his body. Outer Gods, save him.

Summary
It was weeks now into an arrangement they both agreed would only be for a single night. Ludwig was kneeling on the floor once again, his head resting on Ymir's lap whilst simultaneously wedged against his stomach; Ymir stroked his short hair.
It had become habit this, an almost ritual of sorts now they shared evenings and the same bed. After dressing down for the night, they would inevitably find themselves in this very position. Ludwig would eventually grow drowsy and content the longer he knelt there with his head upon Ymir's lap, usually at which point he could be persuaded to come up onto the bed proper. He would brush and braid Ymir's long hair on his behalf, and then they would settle for the night to sleep.
Tonight, Ymir decided, he would be bolder than usual.

Count Ymir pursues a more intimate relationship with the Tarnished drake warrior Ludwig, and is rewarded for his boldness. Many times over.

Arthur took another drink, the scotch burning his throat pleasantly as it went down. He lowered the bottle and sighed. “Don’t wanna presume myself here Mr. Mason, but... Do you have uhh, a woman? Where you live?”
Albert snorted at that. “Me? Gracious no, I don’t-- well, let’s just say I bark up a different tree, Mr. Morgan,” he chuckled, placing a hand on his chest.
