Steep mountainsides of softly swaying green grass and greyish rock, a beacon of serenity surrounded by violent waves. His own hands, tinier than Kylo could ever remember, tugged by a pair of hands tinier yet—warm, so warm and tender.
Laughter—his own, the now unfamiliar, childish sound of it strange to his ears, following that of the little girl urging him along.

In his hands and filling his chest to the brim, soothing his aching soul."

The door opened suddenly and Special Agent Benjamin Solo, medical doctor and Marine, strode in. He carried a box of personal effects, ready to start work.
Rey was all kinds of interested. “Hey, partner.” She stood up and peeked in the box at his pencil holder, stapler, files, and a ruler. “I have pencils and staples. And all that.”
Ben set the box on his desk. “Stop looking in the box, Agent Nosy.”
Rey shrugged. “Have it your way, but I’m not sharing my pencils if you’re going to be snotty.” She pointed at the ceiling where a forest of pencils hung, stuck in the tiles.
Ben’s mouth dropped open. Then he snapped it shut without comment."The Truth Is Out There" but it's on a Need To Know basis.

Summary
Rey is a scavenger of the new world wastes. Her whole life is dependent upon the flow of the water trade through her wasteland town. She wants nothing more than to live a life of innocuity and inconspicuousness. But it seems that the powers that be won't allow for that when she finds herself wrapped up in the conflict between the mighty Resistance and the infamous First Order.
Rolling onto her side she watched familiar little pinpricks of light bob in the distance, and she wondered passively if the terrible Kylo Ren was among their pursuers. It troubled her, how much she feared him. Only a few glimpses had been enough to show her all the terror that he was. She believed every story she had ever heard, and she prayed to every old-world god that might listen that she might never fall into his hands.

“No,” he interrupts her. His heart is beating wildly in his chest, underneath her palm, but he tries his best. “No, please. I want– I want everything. With you. I just– I’m not used to this. Being touched.”
It comes as a revelation to him, the fact that he’s someone who can be touched. Who can be touched like this.
